What a pretty place Iwakuni is. I know this city for the USMC base. I wish you a nice and cool autumn soon in Japan! (I know it is very hot in Japan). BTW, 最近デブッた?

I have no idea how I got unsubscribed from you. I was wondering why you haven't uploaded all year. KZbin is irritating.

I filmed an oral history of a woman who survived genocide by hiding in the shrubs. Although she and the genocide were famous, it was the only time she told her story of survival on camera. The video went only to the family and isn’t on the web. She opened up because she trusted me, which is why I believe you will be great at oral histories because people trust you - almost instantly! I hope NHK sees your gift and gives you the opportunities.

Love to see Cathy Cat as the presenter, showing us Isakuni. Watched her for years on Ask Japanese and Japan railway Journal. Beautiful castle and bridge. Cute little stores and coffee shop and a park to walk in.

The Kentai bridge is about 15 minutes from my house and it's always a fun and beautiful place to visit, especially during Sakura season. Hope you had a lot of fun and were able to find places to stay cool in the summer heat. The manhole covers you saw not only feature the Kentaikyo but also a fisherman using Cormants, an amphibious local bird, that they have on leashes to catch fish that they've been trained to bring back to the boat which is a local tradition that is carried on today.

It's such a beautiful area! That bridge is definitely unique. It's very pretty but every time I look at it I think all the ups and downs might make it take more steps to cross than if it had been a more traditional bridge shape.

New Camera Crew??!! Or is Director popping in for some halp?
@kenthedeviltamer23 күн бұрын
This is Cathy’s personal channel, so no Director. Cathy films these videos herself or with the help of friends. And as for Ask Japanese, no Director didn’t come back. Cathy films them herself as well, again sometimes with the help of friends and does the editing. Be sure to show your support by liking, commenting, subscribing and sharing with your friends
