Hey bud! Was thinking about ya catching yourself on a pass by.... Ya see that hill.... plunk the camera in the hill, stable it for best view... go back... run by it nice and smooth... come back and get camera... fill in with a voice over... Just a thought...
@HillbillyonaYZ2 жыл бұрын
I hadn't really thought of it, but might be an interesting POV. When the weather gets nicer and I have more ride time I'll look for some spots to try it.

Yes. Max Lens Mod, 2.7k/30fps, wide, Hypersmooth on. The smoothing did it's job on the second road. Some places would about rattle your fillings out.

SV650S. I'm experimenting with the Max Lens Mod, 2.7 30fps, so it's default on 4:3. Still a work in progress.

Be setting the mic up again soon (kind of a PITA, was hoping to get away without it), but I'm not too fond of the wind howl either. Have the wind setting on, so pretty much the best it gets as is.

R.i.p y bridge I don't think it ever reopened after that last time although I moved so I don't know. 😞 Good memories there's as a kid though!

That's over 35 feet above the normal level of the river. It came up a little over a foot more as the day went by, setting a new record of almost 37 feet up. It's all back down to pretty much normal now, went through here last Sunday on the bike and they were gutting out the bank in my other video. Lotta millions of $$ of damages through the whole S.W. MO area. On top of flood season, it's also tornado season here, this evening's tornado warning expired a couple hours ago. Seldom a dull moment here in the Ozarks. :)

Spent the summers of my youth at Camp Yocum, and only once do I recall water like this. We had to drive through the field to get out of the camp! If anyone needs a point of reference, watch another video of the Y bridge with normal river levels. This is a certfiable shit-ton of water! Scary amount of water!

It's actually came up another foot or so since I took that this morning. We had 8 inches of rain in 24 hours, it's a huge mess all around the southern part of Missouri. A bit of trivia.. That little town there is where I grew up. Population 355 at the time, not much bigger now.

It's a 2005 Ducati 749. In my older videos you'll notice the 4 cylinder hum, those will be on the '07 Hayabusa.

Lol, yeah it can be a work out alright. This is one of the easier trails there, but shortly after a pretty heavy rain with a lot of fresh dead fall (don't know what's going to be around the corner) and riding by myself, I was taking it pretty easy that day.

@NonMorto Yes, we are blessed with thousands of miles of the best roads in the world. But your country provides us with some of the greatest motorcycle racers to ever grace the planet (Valentino Rossi comes to mind). Guess it all evens out in the end. :)
@HillbillyonaYZ14 жыл бұрын
@NonMorto It's a 185mph motorcycle bone stock. The Hayabusa's key traight is that it will build big power all across the RPM range, not just up top. That's why I can do all these roads in 1 gear and just ride the torque curve. But if you pull it back a couple of gears and pin the throttle, you'd better have it pointed in a prudent direction. Wonderful bike IMO. Stonkin fast, handles better than most people think, and very comfortable.
