I run a super similar set up on the Grasshopper, it's my all time favorite heavy.

Hey the grasshopper is a light mech not a heavy mech as it's not using heavy weapons and light armour

@Coastal-loyalty_72. I think you might be mistaken. There's a light mech called a "Locust", which is super similar linguistically to Grasshopper.

Some really strong decision making in the first game. Deciding to reposition to shut down the sniper, then getting the light mech that was chasing in a really clean shot. Well done!

Wow what a GRIND! Very fun build, love me some Orions. My fav loadout is 1 snub, 1 heavy gauss, and 2 mrm 10s on the Orion Protector.

I keep seeing all these other pilots running in front of you and expecting them to get blasted in the back. People need to realize that you don't move in front of the assault mech during combat.

So the Shadowhawk was probably my go-to mech of choice for about 6 years? Around 6 years. Ran mine with 3 Medium lasers (Pre Innersphere Extended range tech) and 3 SRM 6 with Artemis. First mech I ever put up a +1000 damage game in. Love the double RAC here, I'd like to see some Shadowhawk builds with the new toys the Inner sphere has to play around with.

Please try a 3L with XL340 (shave the armor enough to have 3x DHS in engine), MASC, 4xSNPPC's. Trying to take the most advantage of the MASC, getting into & out of trouble quickly. If you add Endo, you can throw on a LPPC for annoying people.

@@XKS99 What fate? As long as there is enough revenue to keep the servers on, PGI will let it run. Plus hasn't all the direction been given to the Cauldron? I don't see MWO changing drastically anytime soon unless economic factors make it unviable. Which is the end for any online game. Hell, I don't see why fans wouldn't run it on a private server like people do with Phantasy Star Online.
