Let our dear Raghuvansa Sudha who has now restablished hinself not only in Ayodhya, but also in the hearts of his devotees, bless us with retrieving the grand old tradition of young children attending music classes in the evenings, after school hours. When I was younger, 5.30 p.m. or so, would be Paattu class time. As we grew up, while returning home from College,we would hear children and their teachers practising music. The air used to sound so heavenly. Now that we have re- established ourselves, let the tradition of young girls dressing up in Pavadai Chattais and all, start again. Let our girls trsin themselves in soulful rendering of beautiful songs. Now we have a back up of Bharathiyar songs too, that can be taught in classes. I listened to this song to celebrate the third day of Rama Prathishta. This day also happens to be my Wedding anniversary. Thank you Jayashree....My Veena Mami taught me to play this song. This ragam truly takes uus on a trip to heaven and back.
