This is so crazy! This reminds me of Necromancer but instead of Marco Benevento it's Carson McWhirter, another collaborator of Zach Hill. And Zach and Carson and John Clardy are all NorCal/Sac folks. And Nick Reinhart also played with Zach Hill, and of course Clardy. This is what I love about music, the culture interacting and all these great artists' lives intersecting leaving a trail of amazing music.

KZbin can ruin the continuity of an outstanding concert hustling these useless advertisements. The Sun Ra Arkestra as usual is in fine form, is the last of the big bands? Marshall Allen is playing on instrument that has the ability to sound like a keyboard synthesizer. Allen might be the last surviving member of the orginal Arkestra. Sun Ra, based in Philadelphia, found some of the greatest musicians from that city and along the Eastern music corridor; Boston into the Carolinas. In 2022, Allen was well into his ninth decade, and still playing with fire and passion. Enjoy this historic band.
