Ik you’re going to cover the light novels (which ty btw I was never able to read them) but can we talk about the funniest iteration of magolor which is him in one of the manga series which he is obsessed with a snowman(chilly) to where he has a shrine for him and implanted a tracking device on his bell. Oh and I can’t forget literally built an entire house next to his so they could be neighbors.

I like to imagine Magoland takes place after Super Kirby Clash, Dream Collection, and Dedede’s Drum Dash Deluxe, but before Star Allies, where he sees something’s wrong in Dreamland and ventures off with Lor to help Kirby.

I feel like it should be important to clarify that the EXTRA MODE version of Magolor Soul is the canon one, True Arena Magolor Soul isn't canon in the main timeline

I think the landia from Merry Magoland is the same one from super kirby clash.

Feel very bad for magolor for being used by the master crown and the defeat meaning magor is going to die since the master crown devouring magolor's soul until hes gone. With the art of Magolor's hand force to throw a apple to kirby and he said he wants to help, even Kirby was crying for magolor which is also sad.

Huh, maybe its just me, but having the exact same voice with a different mascot, may take getting used to, perhaps a voice changer could be added if you want? The voice changer prob can't be to powerful so the voice can be heard easily. But its just a suggestion ofcourse, its super nessecary

Something I should also note is that Master Crown’s pause description states that even though it amplifies the user’s power, it also amplifies the darkness in the person’s heart. Also, according to Meteorz, the Japanese description added the fact that the crown traveled to many different worlds to destroy them before the events of the game. This makes me wonder why Magolor would even want to use that crown for anything when all he wanted to do was make amusement parks instead of conquering the universe. I say this because when Magolor wasn't mutated into those ghastly-looking monsters, he was talking about how he always wanted to make amusement parks for his friends in the extra mode, and in the Magoland mode once you complete every mission. Yet, once that crown mutated him, he was talking about conquering the universe without any mention of amusement parks. This leads me to believe that he initially wanted to (somehow) use the crown’s power to make amusement parks as opposed to conquering the universe for the sake of it. What are your thoughts? Do you think he wanted to use the crown’s power to rule the universe or make amusement parks?

29:02 even though Magolor Soul being sucked into that portal was supposed to be the scrapped bad ending, I found that animation to make more sense than the canonical one. Having Magolor (Soul) be sucked into that portal would’ve worked well to keep his fate uncertain, which would then be followed up in the Magolor Epilogue. Whereas the canonical defeat animation looks like he should’ve just died right there. Also, I found it odd how Magolor Soul kept using portals no problem, yet one showed up out of nowhere to take him to some undisclosed location. Do you think Magolor reverted back to normal after being sucked into that portal? I ask because he still bursts into flames with his wings shrinking, similar to Traitor Magolor form 2, and Magolor Soul in Extra mode. However, we don’t see what happens after he enters that portal for the true arena variant.

12:20 it threw me off that HAL used Magolor Soul instead of Traitor Magolor form 2 for the light novel and Magolor Epilogue because of how often the second traitor form was referenced in Kirby Star Allies in some of the unlock able pictures. Plus, I also liked the second traitor form more than the soul variant because of the wing structure, the voice clips, and the shape on his wrists.

My first exposure to portal was actually Lego dimensions of all things. One of the levels in the story mode took place in it, and so did the credits strangely enough. There was also a cake that was really important to the plot for some reason. I didn’t really know what it was at the time and I just thought it was kind of creepy and weird💀

One tiny thing you may have not mentioned: RTD was meant to have multiple endings and the ending you got was dependent on whenever or not you got all the orbs. If you don't have all the orbs, you get the bad ending in which Magolor's Soul gets dragged off in a portal. If you DO have all the orbs, you get the good ending where he goes back to his normal form and vanishes. Ultimately, the plan was scrapped and you got what was mean to be the good ending, whenever you got all the orbs or not. The bad ending was ultimately used in Deluxe's True Arena.

One thing I’m really confused about is if team Kirby clash deluxe and super Kirby clash are both canon or if just one of them is canon. Super Kirby clash feels way more like an enhanced port of team Kirby Clash Deluxe then it does a sequel. And even if super curvy clash is a sequel, I’m still confused about some things. Like in team, Kirby clash deluxe King D Mind was made from the black mirror and then was killed but in super Kirby clash, he is summoned by nightmare and is still alive? So are both stories canon or is just one of them? This would be far less annoying if both games just had the same story, or if it was far more clear that Seabra Kirby clash was a sequel. If one of the games is canon and the other isn’t, I really hope it’s team Kirby Clash deluxe simply because that one has the much better story Team Kirby clash deluxe is about Teranza trying to bring back Sectiona. He gets corrupted by this thing called the black mirror and he starts making monsters that start ramping around the kingdom and a group of Kirby’s Have to go and beat up all the monsters. Eventually the black mirror creates Dark Taranza. Dark Taranza uses the black mirror to make King D mind but the King D mind says “fuck you” and kills Dark Taranza. The Kirby’s kill King D mind and destroy the black mirror which makes Taranza come back to his senses but he is still depressed because Sectiona is still dead Super Kirby clash is just about Nightmare who starts making monsters rage over the valley because….. he wants to….I guess? A group of Kirby’s have to go and stop the monsters. Eventually Nightmare summons Galactia Knight who isn’t having any of it and just kills him on the spot💀. The Kirby’s beat up Galactia Knight and the end. The gameplay is good between both versions and I guess that’s what really matters But I wish they had just kept the 3DS story for the switch story because the switch versions story is just kind of lame. The only thing it really has going for. Is that seeing nightmare again is kind of cool and some lore implications with Glactia Knight
