Hi, can I ask, what is the procedure like at the Airport when arrival? Is it just like pre-covid days?

Thank you for your question! It's our first time in Japan and we had so much fun. We're unaware of how the arrival procedures were, pre-pandemic days; as per our experience, however, upon our arriving at Kansai International Airport, we went straight through immigration where we presented our immigration QR codes (obtained from Visit Japan Website) together with our passports, then onto the luggage handover area to get our bags, then to the automated customs gate where we scanned our passports and customs QR code also generated from Visit Japan Web. Then off we went to the train station. It was an easy process altogether. Make sure you register your details via vjw-lp.digital.go.jp/en/ if you're planning to go to this beautiful country. I hope this helps and have a safe trip!
