I guess,, the reason why western mainstream media makes this an issue is because of pride. That racist mentality, you know. You don't hear stories about Faroese men marrying westerners. But you do when it's a Filipina. Why is that? The question here I guess should be; why Filipinos? It's quite normal for any country to "import" partners whenever it becomes necessary. But Faroese men choosing mostly Filipinas.... There must be a very good reason for that. Maybe the same reason why almost a quarter of the world's nurses and seafarers are Filipinos? Much like fruits, you don't import rotten apples or oranges. You always choose the best quality and longer lasting. And that, I guess, is what other people can't accept.
