It was a very good show, but not a great show. You managed to capture one of the several moments when the band was not together.

It's terrible how people don't realize that cell phone audio doesn't sound like being there, and that it's pointless to judge how a show sounds based on phone footage.

@@Gregorydrobny thanks 🙏 couldn’t have said it any better! In addition he seems to stand right in front of the stage, where stage volumes are heard rather than controlled FOH volumes coming from the PA…

Steve Vai and Joe Satriani have been speaking badly of Kirk Hammett for many years, but it is objective that this cover of theirs Enter Sandman is horrendous, both for their sound, which has nothing to do with the sound of Metallica, and for their voice, horrible. Unfortunately for them, technique and virtuosity with the instrument are not everything in music, there is no emphasis in this cover. And that's why Metallica is up there and they're not.

So Kirk with 25% of their technical ability wrote a much more memorable solo. And this, kids is why compositional skills are more important than techical prowess. Metallica has covered plenty of songs, almost each of them better than the original. I have yet to hear someone covering Metallica and improving on the original. And if Joe and Steve can't do it....good luck.
