I understood the good intention of the project but I didn't like straying from the aesthetic created by David Petersen. I think one of the great advantages of Mouse Guard is precisely the art and proportionality created by the artist. This version of the characters is too loud for my taste. But, again, I see a lot, a lot of value in this project!

I do like the concept and the animation and world looks dope, I'm just not particularly hot on the humanoid looking mice. If they looked more like theu dud in the comic it would be perfect. Aside from my personal preferences, this does look awesome and it would male fir a great movie, mini series or even a video game! God a Mouse Guard video game would be sick!

It sucks the plans for a movie didn't pan out for this version. But this doesn't mean the idea of a MouseGuard movie is dead, it'll just be a different company and director, and if it has a similar feel as this, I'm satisfied.

it still breaks my heart on a regular basis that this got cancelled. The comics are amazing, and this footage is fantastic.

The plot and story telling looks great, as well as the fight choreography, but I'm not a fan of the character design. If they could fluff them up and make them more mouse like (ie: make the characters cute) I could see it doing well.

As a fan of Mouse Guard, I saw this several years ago, and not really liking the models for the mice. It is too anthromorphic. David Peterson's art exemplified the animals.as they are. The mice simply walked upright, but their anatomy is the same.
