Your sharing has brought so much of inspiration! Public Relations is an excellent field to go into because it is important to every business and organization. The skills within the field such as writing, speaking, research and establishing relationships are important to any job so you will graduate prepared with real-world skills. There are so many job opportunities within public relations that span from nonprofit organizations to PR firms to high-powered businesses.

OMG! Thankyou so much! I'm studying Marketing and PR right now. The stigma around PR is wayyy too glamorous than it actually is. Needed something real, I'm still excited to pursue the career though <3

OMGG. Whenever I ask people what the day to day life looks like in their role they give me that same answer and is so frustrating when you are truly trying to understand an industry.

It was always frustrating for me too! The best thing to do is get out there and get internships, shadow people, or get mentors so you can see for yourself!

Hey, Santiago! I found the event I went to in the morning online through Facebook actually! I look for networking events on both the Facebook event pages and eventbrite!

Hey, Rita! I have my bachelors in Mass Comm/PR and I took 3 internships during college. The current role I have is an entrepreneurial one! So I can't speak too much on getting a job right out of college.
