Guys, where am I going wrong! I can’t seem to remove swirls! Am I going to quick? The bonnet on my car took me about half hour. Started with the heavy cut and then finished with the micro cut. Am I moving to quick with it?

I wish a detailing retailer would put together packages from brands. Like a full exterior package. Citrus or apc, foam, bucket shampoo, decon/stripping foam, fall out remover, tar and glue remover, wheel and tyre cleaner, glass cleaner, clay bar or block, wax/sealent/coating. Would be nice if 1 a singular brand offered them all and 2 a site or shop could organise a bundle price for 5 litres of each where practical.

We use this pw in our bay all the time now, after you have rinsed off your soap apply it on the car while wet and when you have finished start power washing off from the way you started...we tend to just put it in a spray bottle you'll not use as much and put it any where, wheels glass arches, also your drying towels will hardly get wet and will cut the time down loads

no - i'm not sure what it would do on paint but I HIGHLY doubt it would last as long as much cheaper ceramic sprays made for paint. I love engima corona but it does not last 6 months on trim, let alone on paint.

So nobody asked the big question….If CSL is bonded to the paint for life and EXO is a 2 year product, what happens in 2 years? Just reapply EXO OR??? Just did a base of CSL and 1 coat of EXO V5 as recommended. Do we need to do CSL ever again? V5 again? The Tesla is brand new and garage kept. Looks unbelievable! Don’t even want to remove it from the garage now! 😂

Thanks for your questions! You can reapply EXO after 2 years if needed. It depends on what marks the vehicle picks up along the way and whether it will undergo machine polishing to remove any marring marks. If it does, CSL will need to be reapplied.

Just used this whole process with all the Koch products and oh my god!!!! Car looked good after the F6 then looked crazy after the M3 then just looked insane once the 1k was applied. It actually looks like some kind of glass layer

Do you recommend layering c2v3 ? If yes then what will be the curing time between 1st & 2nd coat ?

Yes, layering is always great, some people do it 5-10 minutes after the first layer. What I do is to wait longer, it's always a good idea to let it cure for 1-2 days before washing it and then add the second layer. After that, repeat the procces every 3 months to keep the maximum hydrophobicity/protection.
