Swann Creek is a great place to ride. Easy to get some laps in. What bike are you riding? You hit up any other places?

I ride a 2013 Yeti SB 95, and I love it! For other places, Port Gamble has some really good trails. #Derailed There have been some specific trails built in last few years for skills development on the north side of Port Gamble as well. Highly recommend riding Galbraith Mountain just North of Seattle for both Unemployment Line and Blue Ribbon trails. I rode Unemployment and it is an awesome trails if you like jumps. It's opener is famous and you'll recognize it after you've conquered it. Blue Ribbon just recently popped on an article by Single Tracks and is highly rated. Once you've ridden the trails, you can have a cold one at Transition Bikes Outpost just down the road from the trail head. Good vibes!

I broke my arm and my leg on that trail on a friend's church sponsored trip on that trail when I was 14 lol. *Lost the rear tire going too fast and went over the cliff somewhere around the 7:00 mark. I was way ahead of the adults, and they didn't really believe me that I fell like 15ft to flat, but the x-rays said otherwise haha!

Definitely a trail that will leave the vast majority of riders with a story to tell afterwards. Especially being a group ride in your case, it sucks that anyone got hurt, but is also a bonding moment. These trails definitely carry risk that cannot be ignored.

But mtb group I just have one question were you new to the Grotpeter when you did the video? And sorry how fast were you going bc you know those roots you should be going really fast the jump them just saying it was a great video 👍

Was totally new to Grotpeter, and simply passing through town. I liked how the trails were pretty wide and an easy climb.

Can you park on River Rd. on the Sykesville end, or just at the Marriotsville Road side?
@Themtbgrpup4 жыл бұрын
I do recall seeing a couple cars parked on River Rd when I got there. Henryton Rd seemed to be a popular spot, with ample parking, for the river goers and can be considered a midway point for Woodmar.
