when I try to do this, the little bumps at the back twist sideways and show through the openings, to the point they no longer look like open diamonds, but solid ones. I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions?

Gave up on the small diamonds! I tried and tried but just couldnt get them right, so i did my own little thing for that bit! One criticism I have is the hands get in the way on the video so sometimes you cant see how you're doing something. 😅
