Yes J, we need that line to be straight on both sides of the ball. We know we can get the running back and receivers and everything else that put outs points on the board. We also need to make a solid hire at LB, we have some of the best LB in the nation in the state of California every year. It's why our new LB coach has to be a stud hire, I think it needs to be someone like Claiborne. A true California native that has that California love just like our defensive lineman coaches do that dog work. Our new LB coach needs that dog work but his dog work can consist of doing that dog hunt in the west and we know DL are close to a LB and they work together like a dam family. So we need that dog work to really cover the whole of LA and the whole of southern California and if he really believes in dog work and he is all over that California love of hitting our highs and neighborhoods. It's what Pete Carroll did. They call him the Prince of the city, it was hoods that Pete Carroll went where the average man couldn't go. It was just the respect that got from them hood leaders. Pete Carroll was given access to these areas because he believes in the Young children of LA. I think Claiborne can at least get that respect because he lived in the hood and game one. The key to USC in 2025 is addition by subtraction. The players graduating and leaving the program were performing the worst. They have kept the young gems who are going to shine. Ryan & Connor y'all got it all wrong. Connor Jayden Maiava played in 4 games not 5 games i don't know why you kept saying that he played in 5 games. Ryan just how you gave Miller Moss 3 years & 1 full year with the starters and a 10 game season where he threw 10 interceptions in every game, not including the holiday bowl. Y'all got to give Jayden Maiava a full year summer and fall with the starters to clean up his mistakes. Jayden Maiava played against the number 7 ranked team and number 1 pass defense in the nation in Notre Dame, the number two defense in the big 10 in Nebraska, A very very good defense in UCLA, another top defense from the SEC who Lost to Notre Dame by one point in Texas A& M and Jayden Maiava did very well considering he only had 4 starts with the Starters this season. Jayden Maiava threw accurate darts in the short to intermediate routes to his receivers in the mid 3rd quarter and the Full 4th quarter when he got really hot, he also threw with anticipation and on stride to his receivers. Lincoln Riley was asked in the post game conference if he thought Jayden Maiava was qb1 going into 2025 and Riley already said yes. Mm never would have won that game Maiava was playing without duce. Branch, Hudson, marks, and Joiner, and Monheim. Mm never came thru late in games. JM leads comebacks UCLA, NEBRAsKA, almost ND. Jayden Maiava got off to the worst possible start but when it mattered he drove the team down the field twice (TD, TD) and if you didn't notice he did it with ease. He answered the call down the stretch not once but twice. Obviously A&M was expecting him to do something else so he caught them off guard. You have a guy who can have a bad game and still win. UGA makes a living on winning the close games when they're not clicking on all cylinders. Its a skill I hope continues. Congratulations USC, this is a win over a good SEC team with a great Defensive coach. Keep in mind Texas A&M is a program that gives Alabama fitts. They have 2 wins over them. In the last decade.
