His facetious song sparkled with a contagious uplifting humor and verve & to the amusement, amazement & embarrassment of our 7 children, my husband adopted the chorus as his theme song, NOT THAT HE THOUGHT HE WAS PERFERCT IN EVERY WAY; BUT BECAUSE HE KNEW HE WASN'T & that was the fun of it! AT THE AGE OF 98 he still enjoys the HILARITY the song evokes, which has helped Bill to age gracefully with humor. Billie-Marie Kasson

@haggios63 I remember this exact episode when it was new in 1980. I was only 12 at the time and a little shocked myself that they allowed the "one hell of a man" lyric to be sung on that show. But the Muppets weren't really geared entirely for kids, it was more of a variety show and it was shown on prime time TV where lots of TV shows allowed "hell" and "damn" to be said. The Muppets show wasn't at all like Sesame Street even though some of the characters came from there.
