That's your prerogative. I thought the movie was okay, not great. But I really liked the steelbook design.

Were you ever able to show off the custom covers for the TNG blurays in a video or did you post them anywhere?
@GeekTruth64
@GeekTruth64 Күн бұрын
I did finish designing them. My printer died, so I put them on hold. I finally got a new printer, but I’m still tinkering with the colors on the covers. I haven’t posted them yet. I still want to do a video when I get everything printed. I know it’s been a while.

@@GeekTruth64 That is great to hear, I have been disappointed by the packaging to the Babylon 5 boxset. I'm in process of doing custom cases for those disc's too.

Dude. Where’s Ran?!? Beautiful steelbook
@GeekTruth64

Hey Odin! If I remember correctly, I couldn't find my Ran steelbook for the video. I found it afterward. I need to reorganize my collection. 65% of my collection is just completely randomized on the shelves at the moment, makes it difficult to find things. I'll just have to do another top steelbooks video next year; by then I'll have my shelves fixed and more steelbooks to choose from. Thanks again.

Honestly surprised to see that Klaus wasn’t included. Highly recommend it. It’s a 2019 Netflix animated movie about the origins of Santa Claus. Last film featuring Norm Macdonald released before his death.

That has been on my watch list for a few years now, because so many people have recommended it to me, but I still haven't seen it. I didn't realize Norm Macdonald was in it.

David Huddleston played Santa Claus in that one with John Lithgow. I mostly know him as the main town leader in Blazing Saddles and he plays Mr Lebowski in The Big Lebowski

The digimon the movie blu ray has a brand new uncut dub with the original cast. They didn't even really try to get the angela anaconda special, when they announced the blu ray they just said it was being cut for rights issues. It's being put out by discotek, they did a fantastic HD remaster of the movie and did the impossible and HD remastered the first and second season. They're stuff goes out of print all the time and sky rockets in price unfortunately. Didn't know the digimon movie dvd was holding value. Got it new in a bargain bin in like 2014.

I'm watching the 4K version right now that I got for Christmas. Is it just me or did the sound mixing back way off on the volume of Godzilla himself?Everything he did from walking to his roars was absolutely deafening in the theater. In this home video release, not so much. It's the first thing I've noticed since he attacks almost immediately after the movie begins.

Creation of the Humanoids/War between the planets is dvd is $30 or $40 on ebay. War between the planets is AKA planet on the prowl. It's on VHS. In this case the VHS is more valuable than the dvd.

Ive seen Peter Cushing in 1959s "the Flesh and the Fiends" about four times. This includes the Australian title Mania. The Kino Lorber Flesh and the Fiends dvd is the one with better picture quality. Only after the first 5 minutes of the movie. Cheers.

Discovery gets a lot of hate (and some of it is well earned) but Picard, and specially its 2nd season, is in my opinion the lowest point in the franchise, EVER, and by a few parsecs of distance. Truly awful and even amateurish writing, entire plots ignored and/or forgotten, actors that dont fit the character and the story and are only there because they made the mistake of signiong ywo seasons with them, and a clear sensation of no one at the helm (No Sulu pun intended). 😁

I collect DVDs not Blu-rays because they are easier to back up. Physical discs don't last forever (despite the sales pitch), perhaps as little as 20 or 30 years in some cases, but it will depend greatly on the manufacturing process of each disc, as well as how they are stored. e.g. The metallic layer can become oxidised, and that happened quickly in the case of some early CDs with bad manufacturing, or the plastic disc could become brittle & snap when you remove it from the case (plastic does age!), or the clear plastic could become opaque (which cleaning may or may not fix).

idk what version of ds9 u watched but it was way more serialised than episodic (especially the last 4 seasons) (especially compared to tng and the original series) because it was set on a space station and there wasnt a new planet every week thats what made it so good cos there was room for charachter development cos there wasnt a new planet evey week
