If there is anyone out there suffering from severe depression and thoughts of ending it, please don’t. I come to you as a person who attempted it twice when I was 16 & 17. You can get better I promise. I know it doesn’t feel like it but you can. It will never leave you 100% but 90% of the time you can feel okay. It’s hard work, take it one step at a time and I swear it’s so worth it. Try you best to enjoy the time you do have because life is so short. I know it’s hard being so stretch thin everyday where even the littlest thing will make you feel so horrible inside however you can defeat it. Start by telling your self positive things when the negative comes. Even if you think your lying do it. Exercise as much as you can. Cut out every bad person in your life. You don’t owe them shit and don’t feel bad about it if they treat you horribly cut them our and stop talking to them. I believe in you. I promise you I believe in you. You are not defined by your past. Everyday is a new day to fight the battle and win.

It's disheartening to see someone who despite finding success and being relieved of the regular stress that comes with a 9 to 5 job, he still couldn't escape the emotional pain from his past.
@dport95633 жыл бұрын
Depression is not sadness . Being sad is temporary . Depression is absence of pleasure, joy , ambition, dreams, and sadness anger everything goes . You literally want to sit in a hole a fade to nothing sometimes you want to suffer pain and torment but mostly just want to end for days , weeks months years at a time.
@BovineInterventionАй бұрын
Sometimes people mistake depression for simply being ungrateful or having no life. If you push everyone away from you that are good to you and lock yourself in a room how can anyone be there for you ? That's not being depressed that's just asking to self destruct

The worst part about people committing suicide is not that they had people in their lives who trolled them or they became depressed, we all experience this from time to time. However the worst part is actually the fact they had no real close person in their life who could get them out of the negative zone, it's a tendency you see in all suicide cases, they FEEL COMPLETELY ALONE. They all lack a person who truly understands their mental pain and not just someone who says "I'm there for you" but an actual person who can relate to their pain or at least empathize with them. In the first one min of the clip at 00:40, you hear him saying: "Anytime I'm lonely I try to tell myself everything's fine and look past to or whatever but deep down I don't feel so good you know"
@KidsWithGuns19924 жыл бұрын
I suffer very severe bouts of suicidal depression, I actually experience a degree of near psychosis when I’m that fucked up. Honestly the fact I haven’t killed myself is a miracle with how depressed I do get. But the thing is I do have people to talk to, I do have a secure family and people who are there for me. And yet I still feel isolated and alone. Real severe Depression isn’t a logical thingy , you will feel isolated even with people there to help you or not.

@@KidsWithGuns1992 I'm in the same boat man. Doesn't matter that I have strong support, or that my parents are okay with me living at home at 24 until I can sort things out, I just feel completely alone. I think a lot of us, and definitely reckful too, we seek companionship. In today's world, its seems like its harder and harder to find good, honest and well rounded people who want a serious committed relationship in the first place, let alone with someone who suffers from a severe mental illness. We just need some love from people outside our family, and on a much deeper level. Nobody seems to want to share any of their love for us because we're seen as a burden :(

It is hard, I've been suicidal for about 2 years with proper depression, ups and downs as well, manic disorder and ocd, but I've managed to overcome. As an advice - whatever makes you sad or anxious - stay away from it and just make a change with your life. This mental condition is just telling you - you got to adjust something in your life. Thus is the body alarm telling you, get up and live. I hope I helped some how. Feel free to chat if you need to! Stay safe and don't do something which might get you out of pain but the effect it would have on your relatives/friends will be fatal for the as well. Stay strong buddy!

Hey you guys sound young but as someone who's been living with depression for years. It's important to shift the frame from these dark thoughts from a personal beliefs to the idea that they are an outside force acting on you. Those emotions aren't you. It's okay to respect the feelings and you don't have to act like everything is okay. Think of it like rain, you can't control it but it ends
