Can you switch from one recorded track to another so you can set a chorus and verse?
@levih.21583 күн бұрын
Yes you can. In the video description is a link to a video demonstration, where I do this aorund halfway through the video. In the description is also link to the manual of the pedal. You can use the NMP-2 footswitch as a stomp box for this. If you don't have it, you have to use the small arrow up/down buttons labeled "Phrase".

Hello, I'm from Brazil and I'm working on a project I want to use the raspberry pi 4 to send some commands to the ev3, is there any way to contact you?
@levih.21587 ай бұрын
This was the first and only time I've work with it, and it's been a while, so lets see how far we can get here in the comments first. How far along on the project are you? What's your setup so far?
@andreguimaraes65097 ай бұрын
@@levih.2158 Thanks for answering! In ev3 I have already developed a following line, curves from green and obstacle avoidance, for this I used Micropython. I have a raspberry and I only found python for it, I want to use a camera on raspberry to identify objects and capture them, for this I wanted the identification of objects to be done on the raspberry and send the motor commands to the ev3 which does the relocation and another motor for the claw. But I don't know how to do this communication between ev3 and rasp.
@levih.21587 ай бұрын
@@andreguimaraes6509 It looks like we used a mobile hotspot with the RPI as a server and the EV3 as a client. We used TCP/IP with sockets. We used a tp-link TL-WN725N wifi dongle in the EV3. We used this guide as a helping resouce: coolplaydev.com/socket-on-mindstorms-ev3 I have linked a git repo in the description. Check out main_server.py and Client_test.py for some of the code for the client/server setup. As it happens we also did some vision for other projects. I can recommend the python library opencv for the object identification. Feel free to ask further.

This looper would be perfect except for one thing: it has no indicator as to where in the loop you are. The Legato has those red looping LEDs to show you and I find that incredibly helpful.

Hi Levi! Thanks for sharing! Did you use any effect?
@levih.21589 ай бұрын
No I don't use any special effects that I remember. I think the sound is a product of using a guitar amp, the microphone clipping a little, only using the bridge pickup and having very old strings.

Great review, hope you can answer this, Im a year late. I've read everything, your comments, replies, the manual. My question is the tap tempo. I want to record a rhythm track live with a drummer. After I save it and start playing along I'd like to be able to tap the tempo as the song is playing, in case the drummer looses his spot? So, not setting the tempo before a saved file but during. I'm assuming no but if you could be so kind to try it out? I'll keep looking for answers, I'm almost sold.
@levih.2158 Жыл бұрын
Thank you :) I don't have time to go too much into this, and I'm not sure I understand excactly what you want to do. But as far as I can figure out, you can record a loop (with or without rhythm track), save it, and then when you play it back you can tap-change the tempo with the B button - but only until you make new dubs. So you can only change tempo on a memory slot with no active, unsaved loops.

It's not the pedal - just low production value. The sound is recorded with a pretty cheap microphone and I live right next to a street. I may even have had the window opened during recording.

@levih.2158 Жыл бұрын

I cant go up and down among banks.... Is ot necessary to connect a STEREO CABLE to do it ?
@levih.2158 Жыл бұрын
If you are referring to changing of the memory slot with the NMP-2 footswitch, then yes, what type of cable used (mono/stereo) makes a difference. Try traking a look at the manual under "Product Description -> 8. Mode Switch" (I have linked to it in the description and pinned comment). Maybe you can make something work by changing the "mode switch", which is mentioned there. Otherwise you will need to use a stereo cable.
