Love all these guys. I was only 8 years old but I knew this was the best football team I’d ever see in history. And I love how they would all do it all over again just like any of us would.

Not only were they physical football players and tremendous athletes that time and the players on it were an astute group of men who I’d not football players would have been champions elsewhere doing something else making their mark. The intellect was extremely high with that bunch

If it wasn't for Dan Marino's lightning quick release on that Monday night to beat the Bears and there chase for perfection we all would be talking about the 1972 Dolphins and the 85 Bears as the only undefeated teams in NFL history. It is unbelievablely hard to go undefeated in the NFL but I believe these 85 Bears would have done it.

The 1985 Chicago Bears. The best 30 for 30. The best team of all time As a fan, I would live 1985 all over again. What a season that was, and what a team. Enough said!

I was 16 years-old & growing-up in a small-town in Northern Illinois in 1985 … this was an amazing-year to come of age.

I was 14 when they won the whole thing in 1985, and I too grew up in a small farm town in Northern Illinois. Even there, as Pat Summerall said, you could see that people were "Bear-mad." I try to explain what it was like that year in the Chicagoland area as well as where we were to folks where I live now (central Arkansas), and basically I say this- imagine if the Razorbacks had beaten the Buckeyes in the Sugar Bowl several years back and how excited the state would have been. Now take that and multiply it by about 100. And that is what it was like. Greetings from a kid who grew up neat Forreston, IL! Hope you are well.

This team should have been a dynasty. How Miami pulled a win outta their ass vs them will always be a mystery. You'd watch your team play them & you knew you didnt have a chance and you were okay with it. There will never be another '85 Bears. Cheers from #PackersNation
@rollingdudes88593 жыл бұрын
I watched the broadcast of that MNF game against the Dolphins and going in the game the Bears had just clinched home field advantage in the playoffs and Jim McMahon had not played the last 3 games and that Miami crowd WAS WILD that night because they were trying to defend the 1972 team that went 17-0!!! It was just a perfect storm of circumstances that allowed Miami to pull off the win!!!

Without a doubt, their mental toughness of not just a few but all on that team will never be matched. The game has changed but I would put them against ANY team since. Thats saying a lot, but there's no analytics, no technical boards, no BS. Just a plan that was designed for the players that could play it, with the right football people to put it together. Then you have the will and desire both mentally and physically that in my opinion we could never see again. Respect to all the Super Bowl Champions, but these Bears go beyond being champions, there a band of brothers.

At the end of the film, Tyler Hoechlin's character goes to live with the elderly farmer couple that they had met earlier. Tyler Hoechlin would later go on to play the character of Superman, a character whose origin usually consists of him being adopted by the Kents, another elderly farmer

He had a belief a ske that be deluted or denied his skeem proved to exact formula for the game at that time is wasn't a style that I think the NFL wanted or desired there skeem was run the football and basically destroy all the game positions such as qb wr rb and they could do it without a qb prob buddy should be talked about bill Walsh but fans don't see his style in the same format probably he bellicheck and Saban parcels the greatest defensive minds in the games history along with Marvin Lewis as well
