This is such a fun section. My brake rotors were glowing red at the end lol

Any downforce on that at all?
@rwknipe Жыл бұрын
Definitely has downforce, but higher downforce at higher speeds! This track will have some downforce in the higher speed corners…

Hey rob, do you think the 2 day intro is worth it?
@rwknipe2 жыл бұрын
It’s definitely worth it! Just realize, learning to drive a racecar is like learning a new language…this F4 car talks very clearly but fast, where a street car talks a little more vague but slower. So depending on experience, we can get to your potential very quickly and you’ll have a ton of fun, but if you wanted to get to the car and your full potential a Grand Prix Road Racing class will refine your driving that much more.

Aweosme seeing someone who knows how to drive in one of these videos

Upon further reading you mentioned being an instructor, no wonder you’re rocking the track insanely well

This is epic! Do you think driving a sim at home gives you a slight advantage or more preparation than someone taking the class fresh off the street?
@rwknipe2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it definitely gives someone an advantage…it helps prepare you with visual cues, timing, and balance using the controls!

ROCKIN’ ROB! Excellent video, Sir! Creative, artsy and fun....I live in Phoenix and have gone up and down South Mountain in a car and on a road bike, but never on a mountain bike...you have SKILLS! Love it! See you out there...
@rwknipe2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! It was a blast to work on for sure!! Yes, see you on the trails or at Radford!!
@jayernster78692 жыл бұрын
Bob, what did you think about the Ligier at Radford Racing? Did you take the 3 or 4 day course? Was it, ‘worth it’? A nice video...whew....I am awake!
@rwknipe2 жыл бұрын
I’m actually an instructor at Radford, so work out there…The F4 cars are an absolute blast! Of course biased, but if you wanted to do it as a hobby or just being a better safer driver, it’s a huge investment in yourself for the skillset that you can use everyday! The 4 day class finishes off with the last day driving the F4, the first 3 days are in a Hellcat Charger. It’s starts you off with a bit more familiar setting to be able to get more potential out of the F4!

How do you access this trail on Somo? Tight switchbacks suck on a DH bike.
@rwknipe4 жыл бұрын
You get there from National, West of Pyramid trail. Take Eliminator down making a right at the early fork towards the top. We got there by hike a biking up Eliminator...
