because just having the characters do a DI trade is faster and cheaper than making a unique intro interaction. its basically the same as old school 2d fighters having rival intros where they trade blows using just their normal ingame moveset stuff

@@JayLalibrte for old school fighting game players like me it’s pretty obvious and I wished they would’ve had a special intro like in cvs2 (they didn’t even have the ken hat toss to terry in sf6) but it’s been 20 years since cvs2 and svc chaos and newer players of fighting games might not know the capcom snk rivalry and relationship, so I think that it’s a nice addition that’s definitely better than nothing

Also, the reason you fought Lei in Stage 7 is because Lei is Bruce's sub-boss. The Stage 7 opponents are different depending on who you pick. I am a bit surprised that you got Kazuya for Stage 7 though as I believe Anna is actually supposed to be Nina's sub-boss.

The character models were also immaculate while the Lady versions despite obviously being fanservice were well-designed. It's too bad that we might never see them again as I have no hope in KOFAS's replacement, KOFAFK
