Thank you Ties for making these unique small locomotives! I was myself fascinated by these Indian steep narrow gauge railrod trains a year back. I pre-ordered your logging railway set, and I must say it’s perhaps my favourite lego train now. It’s not just realistic but also with the way it’s done, it feels like a proper lego set. I especially like the caboose as lego hardly makes any cabooses. I understand the wooden bridge fell under a lot of criticism by some for the piece count, but it’s certainly unique, and I think that’s worth relishing, and not just doing another Emerald Night. I haven’t seen anyone else make bridge like that before. Just to summarize things here, I hope your Himalaya trains gets through selection. Your work is fantastic! Keep it up! 😁 /Ftygjl

It's based on Thomas' V100 model (rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-150652/Ts__/deutsche-reichsbahn-dr-v1001-br110br112/) but I'm actually not 100% sure who built this particular version.

Thanks! That's loco number 64 of the dutch central railway. It was used mostly for passenger trains on the now long-gone "lokaalspoorweg" (the dutch equivalent of a light railway) between the city where I was born and a town not far from where I live now.

How many languages of people are there. I heard Dutch, German and English (I’m Dutch). I thought oh they would only speak like one language there at that moment like German but no.
@Tiesproductions3 ай бұрын
The event is in Germany so German was probably the most prominent, but where people from other countries (Netherlands, Poland & Luxembourg) exhibiting at the event as wel, and not everyone speaks German. So there wil be a lot of English, and a bit of Dutch too if we where talking among ourselves.

Ties, I’m glad to see some close up shots of the narrow to standard gauge converter and wheel sets. Been wondering about how that works and have sought references on the socials listed from your videos, but no luck. Is there a flickr for that brilliant system? I want to try it myself. 😄 Thanks in advance!

The narrow gauge transfer ramp & bogies are built by Flo from the Noppenbahner, but as far as I know he has no flickr or other social media pages related to his LEGO builds

Id be half tempted to try incorporate a decoupling system, flat toothed pieces with a flat end that can be pushed out by a motor to push the cargo from the locomotives buggers and coupling.
