I took my GS immediately for grooming when I got him at 8 weeks, he got Giardia (supposedly) probably from deer poop in the yards here, so he needed some baths after treatments anyway, but I initially took him in to get him used to it. I don’t think he’s ever gotten used to their dryer, and he barks consistently in their kennel..he’s super well behaved, and I have a groomer gal who really loves him, but I wish he’d be a better gentleman about his barking! I was concerned when another groomer took him, she didn’t check to see if his tail was clearing their swinging half door, he could have been injured, and their tails are important not just for looks but in running and balancing, I’ve been reluctant to go back. Luckily I was there checking him in and caught the door before it squashed his tail.

This is surprising. I have had 3 doxies and we're the calmest, kindest dogs - never had aggression issues, and didn't bite anyone.🤩

What’s the general ballpark weight of the types of German Shepherds you train? I have a West German show line type, he’s stuck at around 68-70lbs at 15 months, he’s a sweet boy. I did so much training w him up until about 8-9 months, then he stopped being food motivated, wasn’t sure how to proceed after that. There are breeders here in US that breed mixed heritage, straight backed GS up to 120 lbs, with hip, elbow etc health certifications, curious if those exist across the pond…(yours are all beautiful by the way, on all your vids!)

My daschund one of them that I had in the past died of poisoning. It killed me. I never got over it, so please people do whatever to take care of daschunds. They are good dogs. Forever daschund owners.

Predator with big sharp teeth and weighing enough to run and knock people down. He wants to kill other dogs so his prey drive is active. Keep the monster away from kids Infants newborns and the wheelchair bound as well as elders and people under 5 feet tall and under 150 lbs. Also: You will need Insurance for medical bills injuries that disable and maim disfigure or cause innocent people to die. Dogs cant be controlled by this nonsense. PREDATOR BEHAVIOR IS INNATE. reactive is a euphemism for vicious. Leave it there.
