UEFI boot must work from the SSD. 2. you have a convertible there - does the screen rotate by itself? 3. are the keyboard and clickpad deactivated in tablet mode? Not in 2021 under Garuda. Today? How did you get these functions to work? Do they still work today?

I have no issues with pro versions like Zorin does it, not really needed for a good experience just some extra stuff to support the devs. Once the actual paywalling starts however like if they limited updates to free users I would bail.

Zorin is a joke. Here’s why: It piggybacks off of Ubuntu, which then piggybacks off of Debian. Lame. The Pro version comes with preinstalled (already free) software that they do nothing with. Premium desktop layouts. Most people don’t care about that. This is how Zorin could have sold me: We’re basing this off of Fedora. You get the latest and greatest with some testing. You know all of those open-source software projects that are useful but have terrible UIs? Well, guess what? We’re forking them and adding our own modern UI to them: GIMP, LibreOffice, Blender, etc. If you pay for this Pro version, you’ll be helping the development of this endeavor. Take my fucking money!

I believe they are linking up with other tech companies like yt/fb/gmail/google etc. If you piss them off they ban/shadow ban you from one or more. Most of the sights are free except PS. Then you have no recourse with PS to make things right. Also, think it might be political linked. I just received a perm ban 2 days after they just charged me for a full year subscription. Will never buying anything Sony again! I'm also removing everything from all these other sights. They really messed up my gmail account, now I need to fix everything that was linked to that acc... including my pay. Big brother cracking down! I went to their factory over this past weekend to celebrate Software Freedom Day I spent alot of time talking to the people their and they truly care great group of people!! I got to tour the whole factory and spoke with one of the QA guys and the amount of thought and care that goes into those machines is crazy, they do alot of testing and everyone is built by hand!! Great video Brother and i use PopOS on my PC i built myself. I love PopOS and again i love the video and i am doing a video on PopOS and why i switched away from Windows!!

Ya no upgrade path for the paid version. at a discount for upgrade. I think paying for upgrades is air. But you should get somekind of discount.. Building a loyal user base should be abusiness goal. i would not like to see it go the way of Microsoft. Making good decision is a kin to how long you will be in business To which I would love to see them in it for a long time. Even maybe putting a extray program for upgrade may work. if my expericne is not outstanding who is to say I do not move to Linuxmint or some other distro. Which would weeken the company.

mmm... unfortunately there will not be a rush to Linux from Mac or Windows, I've been involved with linux since 2004, there's never been a mass exodus to Linux. It won't happen unless people are forced to like in Russia with all the sanctions, Russians have had to move over to alternatives which is a good thing because since the sanctions on Russia the dev updates and improvements have exploded

Things never addressed by Tails videos about persistent storage. 1. max. size of persistent storage 2. persistent storage is not hidden on the Tails USB - sure it needs a password to open but it's not otherwise protected. These videos attempt to make Tails look easy - it ain't.
