Most of the children I teach come from a past of dysfunction and have very short attention spans. It’s great that their parents are in church now, however I spend a good amount of time redirecting the focus back to the topic. I thought the 3 motivations were right on. At the beginning of children’s church we start with prayer and then 3 rules and I ask them to help each other to stay focused. Sometimes it works and sometimes it don’t. I also sing with them a song related to the topic and we try to memorize one verse a month. We also have ages 7 to 12. What are your thoughts on that? I appreciate any feedback or suggestions.

You gotta put something in the title or thumbnail image. I would've watched your video about puppets if you would have left religion out of it. Look, I'm not giving you guff for having faith. Everybody walks their own path... Religion just isn't my thing. And please don't think I'm telling you that you should "warn" people or something. Just, like, a tasteful cross in the upper right corner of your thumbnail image or something. That let's non-believers know they should expect the video to contain celebration of faith (regardless of the actual topic of the video), and it lets those with faith know that your video is one they can enjoy without having to be on guard for the "those" types of content (language, blasphemy, etc.). Honestly, it's your channel, all this is just a suggestion anyway. I'm just saying that had I know in advance, I probably would have still clicked on the video, but being caught off guard feels like trickery (although I know you didn't actually mean it as such.) Carry on, though, and I hope this comment did not offend (and if it did, I apologize, it was not mean to)

I am a young instructor of Karate, I do not have much experience teaching and I have been struggling in getting the kids to follow my lead and correct techniques, behavior, and actually listen. They come in tired, they don't respect me, or they just don't get what or how to correct something. I want to be able to successfully teach these children, so please let me know. Thank you!

We do a puppet ministry at our church and I am really excited to see how kids respond to them as teachers. They ask "How's Bobby?" when I show up at service without him! Good lessons here and I will be practicing some more with these tips in mind. Thank you and blessings!
