If anyone is still struggling with this punk azz: Arcane/Dex with minor in Strength build, Occult Claymore +20 or more (or any greatsword) w/ Lion’s Claw AoW, FGMS with dragon communion seal, Wondrous Physick Cerulean Hidden Tear/Stonebarb Cracked Tear. Spammed three LCs until stance broke, one critical hit, one crimson tear, spammed three more LCs until stance broke again then one more critical and he was ash. I ain’t proud of it but I’ve tried too many times to count. 😂 This method worked first try.

@trut52 it can be finicky. Here's a clip I took from GinoMachino's stream from yesterday; he did this cheese and it worked flawlessly so its still possible on current patch. The Balls-Sucking Hunter just constantly spots me, or the dumbass golem misses the shot, or lands the shot but knocks me off the cliff, or knocks the Balls-Sucking Hunter in a position I can't even backstab him let alone off the cliff. I may as well fight him naked fists only with how well this method works

@jahrfuhlnehm I just did it on another run. It's super finicky but still works. If you're having that much trouble with it, the classic roof cheese may be a better option. This one certainly isn't for everyone.

@@sortalovesgoats I'm in NG+ right now, I already had to fight this guy the "hard" way long ago now. I mainly wanted to try this cheese because I saw it used in a few GinoMachino challenge runs and it looked funny to me (and probably would be helpful if I could pull it off with a newer character). And also I just didn't feel like fighting this one the "normal" way at all The closest I could get was him getting hit by the arrow blast, stunned, but the tree branch was in the way, had to jump over it and he recovers too quickly to backstab or is not facing the right way to pull one off. I pulled something off but would be harder with a new build at lower levels probably, basically got him near the cliff, and then baited some parryable attacks with a Carian Retaliation shield, then in a riposte state punched him off the cliff. Ehh close enough?

@jahrfuhlnehm The parry strat is way more impressive! I've done it a few times but I tend to get super shit rng and he'll just repeat the magic attacks rather than the melee.. I really hate this boss lol.

Thanks. It took me a while to figure it out but I got it. Tips for anyone else.. the archer will not shoot where you aggro'd him but where you are, so get really close to the hunter when you loop back around the tree. And you have to move very fast to get the backstab so start moving as soon as you hear the arrow release

@@A9hl6fgx5ebisb72op Did you jump? It's the jump that aggro's the golem, but you gotta make sure it's in the same spot that the BBH will be standing.. if the spacing is off, the golem's arrow will miss.

Still works btw. I killed ever other one without cheese, but its just annoying as fuck to fight the same guy so many times. Not even because they are that hard, the fight just isnt fun

Whatever i do he just does not get hit by the arrow. No matter how close to the edge i am, no matter what angle. Ive tried so many times haha

@thatginger6839 It's really tough to nail; it still takes me 2 or 3 tries and I've done it a lot now lol. I just did it yesterday on a new run, so it's still working! Just finicky.

Did it just now, it works. Might have to jump over the roots after he gets stunned to get to a proper place + the angle of backstab is important.

Does rejection knock the bell bearing hunter? I think it can be a much more guaranteed kill with rejection, if it works that is.

I've never tested it but I don't think it does, he likely has too much poise, especially since Rejection takes so long to charge; he'd likely be standing before you could get the cast off in the right position. I think it would be harder to do, but it's something to try, for sure.

so do you have to be on a specific angle? cause i am trying but everytime i do the stab in the back move hes always close to the edge but never falls off. am im doing something wrong?

He has to be standing close enough to the edge, and you have to be pretty perpendicular to it to make sure that when he flies forwards, he slides off. It's awkward, but once you get that perfect backstab angle, you'll see what I mean!

@@BiggistBurd pause the vid where he's first hiding on the ledge. You have to be exactly at this orientation, so close that one more step you'd fall off the ledge. Turn camera so you can see around the left edge of the tree, the split second you see the tip of his sword, jump, recrouch and crouch sprint around the tree. Follow him around and stand directly where he is in the video. As soon as he is stunned, take your time to side step to the left so you're to the Bell bearers side, but you make a direct line thru him perpendicular to the ledge before attempting the backstab. You should have more than enough time to do this before he gets back up and it is critical. If you're not squared up with the ledge he likely will not go far enough. For me, he didn't even fall off the ledge on the attempt that killed him. He was still barely on the ledge, and so I got as close as I could to him and performed a jump attack right as he stood up and that was enough to make him slide off. Keep trying, it took me like 15 or so attempts, and only 6 or so of those was I able to successfully stun him with the arrow.

Ahhh thank you thank you! I'm so glad you're nearly getting him! You'll get him real soon.. I totally cheesed that fight on my rl1 run, and I am not ashamed. 😂 The Greatshield Bois carried me through 95% of my rl1 fights.. I have almost all of them on here, my Maliketh rl1 being the most terrifying one bahaha. They're WORTH IT. 🙌

Insane. That must be so hard. Concentrating for so long. I think that's one of the hardest things I've ever seen. Actually second to maliketh no damage level 1 parry only (15 min + fight, damage only with blaphemous claw). I think it's harder than malenia level 1 parry only. Also learnt new dodge techniques from this fight. My fire giant level 1 no damage is a joke against it. I think the first part is just pure ridiculous, but I saw a aesthetic in the elden beast fight. That bow attack looks epic, truly elden lord worthy.

I've never actually used the Blasphemous Claw and I guarantee I'd totally embarrass myself even attempting it. 15+ minutes in that arena would be the death of me.. my Maliketh fight was only a few minutes on this run and it already felt too long. 😳 I really appreciate it! This fight was nearly as clean as I was wanting it to be, specifically Radagon's second phase.. I had most of those attacks perfected and for some reason, I just blew so many dodges in this attempt lol. Beast was fantastic though, I still can't get over the roll out of the grab.. no idea how I managed that, I thought I was DEAD dead lol.

Nice work. After seeing it in bingo and here it seemed very simple, but Im struggling to pull it off. I assume the purpose of the jump is to aggro the golem archer?

Thank you! It took me a couple tries to get the spacing/timing right. You're right about the jump, and you have to jump a split second later than you think you do. Then stand super close to the edge when you've circled around so you're sure the magic hits where it needs to. Good luck!

Sewer Mohg is immune to status effects. I'm using blood arrows on real Mohg but they would've been a total waste in this fight. 😊

@thegrittybuddha Nope! They make enemies friendly. Doesn't work on a lot of enemies but super helpful for a few fights; this one especially.
