I have a theory about profiteering from derelict properties. The Sopranos did a pretty good job of explaining how to make money from run-down neighborhoods. It's HUD scam, basically. That's my guess as to how Top Dollar made money off abandoned property. That and insurance scams from the arson.

My experience was amazing as I didn't even know it was about a Monster! As a King Kong, Godzilla fan, none of them come close to Clovie in scariness! No other Monster movie's come close to giving such a feeling of foreboding! I've never been so starved for a sequel (.. and Cloverfield Paradox / 10 Cloverfield Land really don't qualify)!
