Hey, thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately I'm not too much into unreal lately. I'm relatively certain that an example similar to this should be in one of the starter templates, then again so much has changed since I recorded this that this could very well not be the case anymore. Sorry that I can't be of much help here :/

@@svelle37 all good, I appreciated the detailed step by step. Only issue I’m having now is actually picking it up, none of the cubes on the starter map seem to be working oddly enough, all I get is haptic feedback with an overlap event

Awesome thanks for the compliments. Unfortunately I haven't had much time lately to do any development for VR or Unreal in general so there isn't much content on here, but hopefully I'll be able to come back sometime soon with a little bit of new content.

All you need is a flashlight model anywhere. lol Don't expect everything to be handfed to you.

@@DNetworking when you watch a tutorial, the creator should always provide everything you need to be able to follow the tutorial. its not handfed, its just a normal thing to do for tutorials

Lmao No.. it is handfed and it's not a "normal thing" to do. It's just generous and helpful for the lazy/non-productive people. Go google off free3dmodels or make your own flashlight. You're supposed to learn from these videos.. not have it all ready for you to download > move > copy > pasta. It's no wonder all these indie games off ue4 are complete garbage. People like you go look at tutorials and expect it all to be there for you to download without actually trying to learn from the experience, and if it's not there yous tell people how they should run their videos. Lol If you can't find your own models online or even make your own, you'll end up failing at any project you try to make. *Unless like 90% of the work is pre-made scripts & models*

ps. If you really knew what you were doing.. you wouldn't be begging for a download link to a flashlight model.
