Terrible video - too dark, too fast, very confusing.

I need to do this but don’t have a sewing machine. Is it plausible?
@janicethomas65722 жыл бұрын
Hmmm. I’ve never tried it. It would be time consuming but maybe if you also use fabric glue and the iron it might work (?)

This is by far the dumbest design, when she flipped it, the whole thing was wobbly.

Brilliant! Thank you so much for posting this. I just tried it with a square piece of paper and it was so easy.

Would a larger square -- say, 24" x 24" -- work too, and produce double the piping?
@SawdustSisters3 жыл бұрын
I don't see why not!

I just tried this and I only got a little over 2 yards out of the 12x12 piece of fabric. I cut my strips at 1.5” wide. The “tricky” part where you have to match up your lines was a little confusing and it would be helpful if you showed that part a little more in detail.

At what seamallowance did you sew the pieces? And when you cut it around how do we cut it exactly?

Hmm. Sorry it's been so long since we recorded this, I don't have seam allowance details.

That is the journey of Woodworking. Making mistakes and figuring out either have to fix them or just starting brand new. After 25 years of woodworking there have been many mistakes fixed. 🤣 Great job on the barn door and I wish you luck in future projects for other people.

Well done and so helpful. This is so clever and amazing how you can get all that yardage out of a 12" square. Thank you very much.

do the diameter has to be the same on all 4 sides
@SawdustSisters7 жыл бұрын
Gwen sorry I missed this question. If you are referring to the fabric you just want enough to be able to pull and staple. No need for it to. be exactly the same on all sides.
