Wonderfully played! Quite impressive! Backer Grøndahl studied music under Hans von Bülow and Franz Liszt, and is known as the first female Norwegian musician of any significance. In my opinion, she was the third greatest Norwegian pianist after Edward Grieg and Christian Sinding.

It would be great if you created chapters or a list of the names of the pieces and composers. This would enable us to know more about the composers and their art, giving us the opportunity to search further information about them. Thank you!

Thanks Chris, you made my day!!! I did the IRMC a while back. My only advice with competitions is to prepare as hard as you possibly can, enjoy playing your best, and then ignore the results (unless you win, obviously :-). Best of luck to you!!!

you are AMAZING jessica: I'm a collaborative and solo pianist. I wish I could do both as well as you. I'm learning the rach second sonata and I wish I could comment on how amazing your interpretation is. You are SO professional, yet profound and to the point. Amazing :) I'm going to the international russian music competition as my FIRST international competition? Any advice? Thanks :)
