For those saying don’t cut your nails like this….this is effective, albeit temporary pain relief for patients that cant afford the permanent procedure. I suffer from horrible ingrowns but was lucky enough to find a manicurist to attend to them. However, when the discomfort hits you, you will do anything to have relief. I have butchered my bails way worse than this trying to remove them. I called a podiatrist today to quote permanent removal….$280/ingrown. That’s almost $1200 i would have to drop for all four sides of my big toes. 😢

If you keep on trimming the sides of the nail, the ingrowns will keep coming back. Pretty soon, the big toe nail will be gone. At least that’s what I’ve been taught.🤷🏼♀️
