Hey NoCloud, thanks for the reply & like! There were quite some heavy winds indeed. I picked my days to film & fly a bit by checking the wind forecast upfront (local weather sites). For the Airspace control : there's a zone & strip where you need to ask permission indeed (and closer to airport : not allowed). Our hotel was within the strip, so I filled it in request and had to call the control tower before taking off (hotel did this for me in Portuguese :-) ). For the other parts of the island flying (within the rules for Boavista) was allowed, no permit or so.

Ja, voorlopig nog erg kort. Meer ook voor mezelf om de kwaliteit te bekijken, verschil van instellingen die ik dan verander (bvb. positie vd lampen, intensiteit, manueel witbalans ondiep testen ...). Maar idd, nog geen 'normale filmpjes'. 5 sepia's ? Nice ! Filmpje op komst of is het voor 'De nieuwe kust' ?

Hoi Rene, thanks. Nog veel te leren over alle instellingen en dus nog heel veel test werk. Het is een Sony A7SIII met 24-60mm lens. Hier nog met flat port, maar heb ook een SMC & WWL-1 gekocht. Dat biedt opties hé ?

Extra macro er voor is wel een extra dimensie. Wel moelijk scherostellen omdat de marge erg klein daarvoor is. Masr als het dan lukt...wauw

Ja hoor. Werkt goed, geen vignettering. Onderwaterhuis heeft me ervoor goed begeleid (Nauticam heeft ook goede overzichtelijke charts om je erdoor te gidsen). Ik zou enorm balen, moest ik vignettering hebben gehad :-(

Jij al veel gebruikt ? Ik moet het nog testen (kan dan ook eens tripod/ ballmount gebruiken met iets van armen als tripod).

Hi Dimitri, thanks for the feedback and glad you like it! I used a canon hf-g30 in a gated housing, manual white balance (per depth, angles) and color grading afterwards. Don’t think I used video lights on that trip. The water in Egypt is very clear and as long as not too deep I can have good results with manual white balance.

Hi highopay, is finished indeed. Everything was open while we were there. Landscaping was still a bit ongoing, but that didn’t bother.

Hi highopay, enjoy it if you go there. We really loved it - it's a very decent Riu hotel. You could check tripadvisor if people complain about noise etc. We didn't see any renovations when we were there (I understood the hotel is still pretty recent, the most recent Rui on the island ?).

JP Marine indeed. We also liked the owner (Serge) ! Very professional and good service. He was building a new boat - hope he gets it finished and would love to go with him again then.
