Great questions! NCS was still in its early days back then, and the owner happened to discover this track, which I had originally uploaded to my SoundCloud. He liked it so much that he reached out to ask if it could be released on NCS. That gave the track a much larger audience, which was incredible! I was about 21 when I created it, during my university days. It was probably the first track I made that sounded halfway decent and also became my debut release with NCS. For a lot of people who were younger at the time, these older NCS tracks bring a strong sense of nostalgia, especially since they were often played while gaming. Personally, I don’t get the same nostalgic feeling from this track-probably because I was too busy listening to other music back then, which holds a stronger nostalgic connection for me!

Do you put it's popularity down to a perfect storm? Maybe more people finding out about that kind of music, youtube being relatively fresh etc? Instead of thinking there is something actually really cool in the essence of the song? No worries if you can't reply.
