All these movies where friends fight with swords but don't really intend to hurt each other; what if there is an accident? or a mistake, or someone fails to dodge a sword swing? How come they always manage to practice but never hurt each other? That's some talent.

I finally had my chance to meet Mark. I only did the Photo Op. I could have gotten his autograph but I passed, demand for his autograph was crazy. You’re lucky. At Mark’s signing he wasn’t doing Quotes or Character names. He only did quotes for the Send-In service, which was an extra $500. He wrote May The Force Be With You.

He actually was supposed to play Conan in this. The plan was for a Conan cameo in this followed by another Conan film, a Red Sonja sequel, and then another Conan film with a Sonja cameo. The problem was that time had run out on their rights to license the Conan name. Between that, Arnold's dissatisfaction with Conan the Destroyer and desire to move on from the character, and the fact that neither that film, nor the Red Sonja film were received very well...and basically these projects just ran out of gas and were abandoned. A damned shame really. Lots of wasted potential all around.

The works. of Robert E. Howard (though I think he didn't create Red Sonja) were the perfect antithesis to today's wokeness. Wish I could resurrect him.

He created her for Shadow of the Vulture however she is way different in that story. She's more a rework of Agnes de Chastillon also created by Robert Howard.

First time watching this but the swordplay and acrobatics are amazing, I know it’s probably stunt doubles but still Arnold and Brigitte are in phenomenal shape. Compare this to the shape of young actors in new Star Wars movie it’s nonexistent

I was LUCKY enough to meet my idol here at San Diego Comic Con ...way before all this pay meet and greet photo op crap....I walked right up to Mark Hamill he signed for me and took a photo with me best moment ever and it was all FREE.

That's Ernie Reyes Jr. Dude was a young cinema martial arts legend. Check out Surf Ninjas if you have never seen it. He had a small part in TMNT 2 secret of the ooze also. I miss the early 90s lol.

@@MrKirk94 Thanks for the recommendations on Surf Ninja. Oh but otherwise, I'm aware of Ernie Eyes Jr; I remember watching Sidekicks on TV in the 80s. And I totally agree, 80s and early 90s were awesome: a golden age, especially in terms of TV and cinema.
