Thank you for sharing! You did a fantastic job explaining everything so to imagine where the square goes on the back and how to refold it. If someone wants to gift one and the receiver doesn't know how to refold it this would be a great video they could share to give understanding to the receiver to share with their child. Beautiful.

Why is it that I see varying iwater bath times 15 minutes with just plain cranberries and water 25 minutes with grape juice or apple juice. what is the recommended time for quart jars water bathing? Thanks again!

I am new here. I did not know how you felt about politics, but you articulated very well the importance of voting after doing some research. I value Christianity, and my Faith in My Lord Jesus. He is in charge, and I am not. I continually need to be reminded of this! But while my God is over all, He expects us to do our part. I cannot vote for Choice regards to Life. Taking a life is wrong, and a baby or an infant or an elderly person, they are all life, and all sacred. I am concerned about our ability to discuss politics and religion freely, PERIOD. Arguing does very little good at all, but being able to discuss means that both are listening and hearing. We need more of this discussion today, and I thank you for this post.

@bakerhillfarmАй бұрын
Well I’d have to buy a new one 😅 if I ever do that, I will make a video. I would do the fat step and then bake a total of 3 times before using.

@@bakerhillfarmfunny enough, my package with my new one just arrived. I’m going to do this 😊 I like the salt alternative. I’ve always used water to boil mine clean and then grease while it’s still hot. That’s probably my issue right there. I’m trying your way. Thanks

How do I grow deep roots? What natural manure can I use on strawberiies

Rabbit manure. Keep the new plants that try to grow pruned and watered and they’ll grow.

Can you use this cream soup to store long-term as a vaccum sealer product?
@bakerhillfarmАй бұрын
I would be ok with doing it if it was vacuum sealed or in a mylar bag with oxygen absorbers. You want to make sure the milk is completely dry and hasn’t been exposed to air that long.

Hello! Loving your channel:) Just curious you didn’t mention your stand mixer? I guess it’s not mandatory since I don’t have one 😂 but am definitely thinking of getting one! There are just so many choices!!!!
@bakerhillfarmАй бұрын
Mine is about 13 years old. It’s a Kitchenaid and they don’t made them as good quality anymore. When it’s time to repurchase one, I will get something better suited for whole grain dough. This one has to work pretty hard to knead whole grain.

Why do you use the airlock? It doesn't go bad without being able to breathe? I have used the airlock for the hotel.
@bakerhillfarmАй бұрын
I want the gases it creates to be able to escape but I don’t want anything to be able to get in. Otherwise it may explode.

These are all wise and very doable tips. Please tell me how you make the sausage cheese dip as well as how do you serve it for a meal. Thanks!!❤
@bakerhillfarmАй бұрын
Thanks! So all I do is brown sausage, then I make a gravy! Melt butter and brown flour, and for cheese dip I use milk as my liquid. Once you have a thinner gravy, throw in taco seasonings, chiles or Rotel tomatoes, and then whatever cheese you want! Stir until melted and let simmer until it’s the consistency you want! Pour over chips 🤤

I have found when there are no instruction on the package, they are usually on the website. Here is what is listed on the Azure site : For soup use 1 Tbsp. soup mix in 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer 6-8 minutes. For dip add 1/4 cup to 16 oz sour cream and mix well.

It's nice, when most people are headed for the store, picking from half-empty shelves, we're sitting at home relaxing and those events don't bother us a bit, at least from a survival perspective.

Gaps in the pantry are very gratifying, actually; they show that you're eating what you store, which is always a good thing.

I make sourdough because I love it. My starter is 3 and 1/2 years old. But just FYI for you and viewers, I found one of those one-pound yeast packages from Sam's Club stuck back in the corner of my pantry behind some equipment and non-food supplies. The best-by date on the yeast was 13 years old! This had been stored pretty much at room temperature but plenty of times it was hotter than that when the AC was out or not keeping up with 110+ days. I used that yeast for a few years after finally opening it. Once I opened it I stored it in the freezer, as I always do with open yeast, but it was very old and worked as well as fresh, so either way is good - store yeast, make sourdough, whichever works for you or you prefer. I usually make a loaf of each a couple times a week.
@dalepres1Ай бұрын
I often just cut the whole stem and root it into a new pot either rooting powder and into soil or just stick it in a cup of water for a few days until it roots. Either way is far better than having to start over.
