Which month is this? Is it possible to reach chamra peak? Infront of shigri top in winters

Yes, why not? You need to work on your itinerary, taking in to consideration the expected level of snow on the start day. Finalize your route, khaligati or sokhi gali, do the first camp en route. Add a camp at Shingri top, another one after crossing the pass(Chambra pass) and plan summit the next day. Just below the peak there is a permanent glacier that has crevices and those will be covered by fresh snow, so you may need to bypass the glacier by navigating around it.

This one was April, I think, don't remember exactly. But I have done this trek multiple times in different seasons including one under extreme winter conditions in 2015.

@@awaischaudharyy yes dear brother, I am also talking about a possible winter trek.. In the summer season, you can hire a 4x4 and get a drop to Shingri top, jeep track reopened in 2021 following repair and maintenance.

In Russia we use two names for them. Most popular is solongoi (comes from the Mongolian language and means "sable") and less one is suslyennik.

Thank you brother for your comment, that is basic electronics. Back then, smart phones were neither cheap nor easily accessible, so I had to improvise a cheaper yet fully functional alternative and it workef great! I explored dozens of treks and lakes just using this device as a navigational tool. It still works, but its utility is minimal, so unfortunately it's best suited for the top of my bookshelf.

Local jeep bhi jati hai, aur start point tak bike b jati road theek hai pr charhai zida hai. Aj kal k dino ma shaid jeep 4-5k lay par kuch sahi tarh nhi bta skta aap ko
