First of all, I am so, so happy to hear that your friend was able to go home and continue her care there! That is amazing news as I have been lighting a candle for her each day. Second, thank you for being so open and honest. As a fellow mother to a daughter, it is so hard because we want to instill in them that they are amazing and worthy and perfect just the way they are, but we doubt ourselves. We're told we're too loud or too quiet, too bossy or too meek. We're constantly being put under scrutiny as mothers to do better, do more, and it is so hard. But you are amazing! I feel incredibly honored to be able to call you my friend! You inspire me with everything that you do. Your kindness and love fill the hearts of those around you.

Oh Ashley, you just brought a flood of tears to my eyes. The gift of your friendship means the world to me and I'm so grateful to have you in my life. Your incredible courage and resilience and determination despite the massive obstacles life has given you show what tremendous strength and beauty you possess. I love this series so much. Even though I'm not actually "playing along", these videos of yours really help me to stop and think. Everything you said resonated with me so deeply, as a mother of 2 young girls and a person who's constantly seeing my work and my actions as "not good enough." And I do believe we should not only treat others the way we want to be treated, but definitely also treat ourselves with the kindness and mercy we show others. ♥️ You, Elizabeth, are perfect just as you are and that is enough. ♥️ Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the wonderful meditation to start this exercise. I chose a Woodwick candle as the sound brings me such calm and the scent, Fireside, reminds me of my time spent in the woods beside a fire with friends and family that I hold dear. My word for this year is Recover. As you know, I had a lot of health challenges last year and it was one of the most mentally taxing years I can remember. This year I want to allow myself the space and time to recover. Thank you again for sharing this amazing project with us and for giving us a space to be well and in the moment. I'm very much looking forward to this year.

Hello Elizabeth, I just found your channel…I’m a new subscriber. I love the idea of your Rolodex challenge. I will use my supplies to make my cards. I will follow your prompts and I thank you for sharing yourself with us in this video. My word of the year is Joyful. I’m not sure I should continue in my 35 year marriage because I have no peace. My husband doesn’t understand me or seem to care much about learning. I have a primary immunodeficiency and retired medically but I work hard to be in good health. Thanks agaain and I’ll see you in your next video. 😘 Trish

I've included the journaling prompts and a set of blank cards in the description if you would like to use those. I think that is a beautiful word you've chosen for yourself this year. I hope you can remember to return to it when you need it. I'm so sorry to hear you are having health and other difficulties at the moment and I applaud you for seeking joy in your life and providing self care. That is so important. My word is Momentum. I’ve been stagnant for so long since my parents fell ill that I’ve just been stuck. Now that they’re gone, I need to gain momentum to get my life in order and live my life. Maybe even relocating! OMG! That’s the exact reason I stopped journalling! And it happened when I was 24. I’m 64 now and I’ve never really been able to get back into it. Plus I have PTSD. Trust is an issue with me!

I know how devastating that is. I lost my dad in 2021 and I have finally begun to find my new normal. It sounds like there are some exciting things on the horizon for you and I'm so grateful and honored to walk beside you as that happens for you. You can do it! And you are not alone. What size are the Rolodex cards you are making?

@shazen9692 I measured the cards and they measure 3 and 1/16 Wide (and at the tallest point) by 2 and 9/16 inches tall, but the shortest point on the sides is 2 inches. It kind of bows upwards if that makes sense? The included box (if you choose to make one) is 3 and 3/16 wide, by 1 and 7/16 deep, by 1.5 inches tall. BUT you could also do your own larger cards and make a book rolodex! So anyway you choose to go will be perfect! I have made a tutorial for the book rolodex if you want to watch that! Hope this makes sense and helps!
