What would be cool is if you had some sort of rotating drum with a program on it to test all available characters
@heatshield5 күн бұрын
That’s a cool idea. You could make each row removable so it can be programmed to store a phone number or whatever. Picture a metal can with a bunch of popsicle sticks rubberbanded around it. You can take them off and throw them in a drawer. If you forget an important number sequence, build the device and put the sticks in the right order. You didn’t label them with the character that they produce. You labeled them with some other word like your name or just 1 through 20 or something easy so you know which order to put them on the drum to reveal the phrase. I might actually do that for fun. I have a ton of these snap parts. If I do, I’ll come back here.
@heatshield5 күн бұрын
Just thought of something else. Make the code two layers deep. You put them on the can in order and it produces a number which is the order you use to rearrange them again, which produces the real number you want. lol

6:40 - the capacitor doesn't power the lamp. The capacitor energises the gate of the NPN transistor, which then energises the relay allowing its switch to close. The relay is what switches the lamp on. Once the capacitor discharges below a critical value, the NPN transistor gate is no longer energised - which means current stops flowing through the relay coil. This makes the relay switch off, which finally switches the lamp off.

Hello again, I am th eone that asked on another video about scale compatibility with 1/18 vehicles. I wanted to ask the same here for this firetruck, if it matches well scalewise with 1/18 vehicles? I had this vehicle as well when I was little, but I can't seem to find it these days, so I have to accept the fact that it got lost between all the house movings that occurred. I was thinking of buying one again for sentimental reasons, but only if it fits with 1/18 chevy caprices 9c1 police cars from UT models, thus my reason for asking its scale compatibility with 1/18 vehicles.
@andrewsstation643612 күн бұрын
I'm sorry to hear that. I believe that your best hope of finding this truck is on eBay or at a flea market. You never know if you will come across one. Now actually, despite what I said in the last video, 1/18 vehicles may not be the best for this truck, but 1/12 vehicles could be better. I'm sorry for this mix up.

I had one by our house that only cycled a mercury blue color without ever shifting to bluish white, for a while it was just yellowish orange like a normal HPS lamp, then it started to cycle only a bluish mercury vapor color, and eventually the bulb just died completely. The bulb now, just doesn’t work anymore. It’s a Sylvania bulb as it’s ET shaped. The light bulb just does not work, it’s dead.

Hello there. Do you remember a toy firetruck. it was around 1996 and K mart use to sell it. low and behold my grandparents got me one. this fire truck sits on your windowsill. it has 2 components. the first component is the size of a large cube. wheels are located on the bottom of this component. on the front side is your speaker grill and on the right side, is a button. the second component is longer and it features a few items. a dog and a fireman. the ladders are adjustable. you can move the ladder up or down and the plastic ladders spin. i'm trying to remember what brand of toy this was. but if you do remember this fire engine from 1996, let me know. take note, that smaller cube shaped component with the speaker grill on the front, does light up. when you press the button on the side, there are words that are said by the fireman. by the way, the dog's name is sparky. i don't remember what the words were. after the man talks, the sirens are heard. a slow wailing siren sound is heard at first, followed by that faster fire truck siren. i use to be scared of this exact toy i'm telling you about. when my grandparents got me this toy when i was 6 years old i freaked out. let me know if you do remember this fire engine. and k mart did sell this around the time the first toy story movie was out. it was in K mart one time my mom and i went into the store, around the time the store sold the old school buzz light year space shuttle that would light up and play music. and that was also a part of the first toy story movie. i'll keep researching on this fire truck. i am sure you do remember this toy. it was very cool now that i look back on my childhood. by the way the components of this toy fire engine i mentioned, do connect together. the second component that is longer and is a rectangular shape also has wheels on the bottom but doesn't make sound. only that top cube shaped component with the speaker on the front of it with the round circular side button on the right side of the toy. so cool how this toy came with the plastic ladders you can connect to it along with the small dog and the small fireman.
