There was something in the patch notes about the xp given from this quest being reduced. Have you tried it since the nerf and how much xp would you say is it giving now?

They didn't nerf every ae in the game over this video. They could have just nerfed the enchanter mez back to how it was originally, with a hit limit, if they wanted to get rid of this.

I just accidentally deleted your comment asking how long this took us when I was trying to reply, sorry about that. That's awesome you beat hearol in 30 minutes after yeli. Watching this video took me down memory lane. My buddy Fett in this video just recently quit so this video is real cool. We only had bard and ranger for dps in this video and it was our first time trying to 6 man it. Fett definitely did this a lot faster with I think either his pally or sk summon tanking and real dps classes every week after this. Flagging and lockouts were our issue in this video.

I have wanted to try this but it seems way more complex than mq. I don't get all the innerspace and key maps, I wish it was all pre set up and simple to understand for adjustments like eq itself is (though complex) With mq I just had to learn basic c+ to get it to do what I wanted on 6+ toons and I found this difficult, but doable. How do you move so fast, and how do your toons follow so perfect and dont get stuck on anything? This seems like a sped up recording?

The recording is at normal speed but I do have selos the whole time. As for my follow I just knew the routes really well in MG from spending way too much time there. You can see me babying it at a couple spots but yeah eq af it is really bad compared to what mq offers...I just like my accounts not suspended.

I was having a problem with ISBoxer slowing me down. What did you do to prevent that? This started happening since the last patch

I doubled the framerate in isboxer and it fixed it. You need to do it for each character slot within the character set.

Went all in on a massive pull today and got 70 aa's. Took me 10 mins to kill probably 15 to pull just because the zone lags out really hard. My wizard pulled 110k DPS.

hell yeah - that's awesome! do you know how long the setup approximately was to pull mobs and burn them down to where the video started? I really like the idea of using that to take advantage of the lesson bonus then maybe grind out the remainder also, do you know the approx mob count you had in the pile?

Pull time is about 10 minutes...total kill time looking at the parse was about 15 minutes. I can probably cut that down to less than 10 with not having to setup for recording and getting more comfortable with the strat / optimizing burns better.

Hi Ty for the vid.. is there a way when using eq client u can save the passwords. I only can get one eq launcher to pop up if I try that route.

I do not believe so, but its been years since I tried to do that.

No. The way that you get around the password prompt is to make a 'new game' in InnerSpace and point it to the EQ Launcher instead of eqgame.exe. Sometimes the launcher is in the list already and you just need to choose it from the dropdown. This will open up the launcher window, which has your account info already stored, then you launch the game from there. Hope this helps

I had high hopes, seeing how new the video was. You lost me before you even began. Immediately talking about a drop down box in a wizard you don't explain how to get from knowing nothing about isboxer

The documentation for what comes before this video is quite good. All you need to do is download inner space and isboxer which I did mention. This video was meant to bridge the gap between the documentation and actually getting it to work. isboxer.com/wiki/EQ1:Quick_Start_Guide

Grabbed the Github exe, once installed I can't see any folder in the lower left corner to click on for file association. Tried on a few different PC's.

For EQRB there is now only the character log file that you have to give. I get your EQ folder path based on that since there was a bug with Flutter's file picker that caused the app to crash when selecting a directory.

If anyone who does this could let me know if they all start either removed or inserted that could save the first step of toggling all of the teeth initially to ensure they are all set to one value.

Balancing all 8 definitely seems easier if you have the tanks for it. For a burn strat I think you're best off balancing the first 4 to 50 then start your burn and kite the second 4. Testing on my 115 this seemed awesome but in practice we had a lot of kite fails.

I think you should be able to easily get all mobs that you want if you have someone BDA your pet right before you send it in. Once the pet gets agro on the first mob you sent it on, hit /pet attack mob2 and it will move to that mob since you have /pet focus enabled.

The pet will get aggro while bda'd? I'll have to try that.
