I grew up as a teen listening to Nazareth, cruising in my brothers 69 428cj Cobra Torino with open tubes, Nazareth blasting on a craig powerplay, at a drive in they asked us to leave so we left with two black strips on the way out, those were the days.

Great music, and good times, cars were fast, loud and gas was cheap. Drive in movies. Rock concerts. We had it good.

One of the best rock songs of the 1970s. Dan's vocal performance is so powerful and the band's groove ties it all together. This song kicked my 12 years old butt in 1974 and it still does half a century later.

True classic rock never dies. Their album cover looked like a Christmas scene. My parents hated rock and roll…devils music they said…so I told them it was a Christmas album. 😂

Every time I watch one of these I wonder what the audience is hearing. Is the band actually playing and they just replace that performance with the recording for the broadcast? Or is the band just miming to the album version being played in the studio? At the very least the audience must be hearing the drums.
