I so much disagree with you, guys, Athens IS nice and cozy, you just have not discovered its secret places which are wonderful, such as Thision, Psiri, Gazi, Kolonaki, Lycabettus Hill etc -and of course the stunning beaches of the Athens Riviera in the southern suburbs . You stayed only for 2 days and obviously have visited some degraded, not so clean parts in the city center with lots of graffiti and homeless people, that's true, there are many. But fortunately Athens is NOT just that!

As we said,there are some nice places there. But most tourists come for a few days,maximum a week. And we expressed our point of view like what we have seen during 2 days and what typical tourist would see. Of course, if you are a local, you know much much more about this city, and your opinion is also right. It is just a matter of taste. Maybe some day we will come again and you will show us another side of Athens 😁

thessaloniki promenade is the most boring in the world. greek love to burry everything under tons of cement and then go up and down for their "volta". any other city u will visit in greece, will have amazing attractions at their promenade , tavernas, bars, cafes to enjoy ur time and watch the sea. not so in thessaloniki, there u can sit in a cafe at a busy 2 line street cutting u off from the nice views and the only places where they could put bars , cafes and tavernas where u actually could enjoy the beautiful sea is the "new promenade" but instead its just empty space with almost nothing to do there, its sad really.

Thessaloniki had already to many bars and restaurants before the new promenade. And your suggestion is to build more bars cafes and restaurants in front of the sea so you can enjoy your meal and the sun instead of people with bikes, families and people to enjoys their walk! Just stupid!!

Thanks! Average price for good dinner in restaurant or tavern for 2 persons with wine around 40-50€, cocktails price in bars on Ladadika 8-10 €
