All that extra work shouldn't exist in 2024. Are they not paying the engineers enough? That's why I'd rather have an electric hard top convertible. Just press a button. You don't have to pull over or get out to deploy or retract the top. The 1996 Mitsubishi 3000 GT Spyder VR4 was way ahead of its time.
