I absolutely hate the necks and bicep pieces to these models. Your idea of putting the head on first before putting the neck in the torso is game changing for me.

GW retributor spray is horse shiiit brush it on outta the pot its a different colour too darker than the spray....

The minis dont bother me, but I find it odd they made the cards with screen shots yet made the minis so cartoon like. Maybe would have been best to do custom art on cards as well. shrug. I wonder if more maps will come out. Seems very limited with this one map. Would be cool for other ships, or to go planetside

I love this scheme. I have been using it for my Red Wolves. Only change is to add Retributor Armor on the chest eagles and some of the fancy details like the shields for my bladeguard. So easy to do and such a great looking red! Thank you!

I do a similar version of number 2, but on a Doombull Brown base that I drybrush with Leadbelcher. The result is little pieces of metal peeking out, I really recommend that

I think the Borg need to work in pairs at the onset and concentrate on an area like engineering to deny the federation access to some easy points and move out from that location concentrating on one character to wittle down. Once the Borg gain more board presence and activation shinanigans in the later turns it will make it harder for the federation player to achieve their goals.

This is a wonderful tutorial, very clear and easy to follow. However there is 1 important thing that needs to be mentioned, with the Dominus kit you are only able to magnetize 2 weapon options, as the set only comes with 2 elbow parts (a10, a11). This also counts for the part a49, the cap for the weapons. You can order these from 3rd party vendors. 😅

Great review, thanks. This game is mechanically based on GW’s most excellent Warhammer Underworlds game. Sometimes factions here appear unbalanced at first blush because they require time to learn how to play them best, or because their starting deck is a bit weaker and one needs to deck build to make them better. Occasionally, though, it is simply that one faction is weaker. I think we need the game in the hands of more people to know for sure.

I second that question with Borg balance issues.

Any concerns with Federation vs. Borg balancing? A couple of other reviewers have raised that as a (potential) concern

With agrex Shade do you add more water to it? When I’ve used that wash in the past it seemed to not wash as well as what I’ve seen in KZbin videos but more painted the model brown with streaks

Great little vid to hear whats been going on and your thoughts. What I will say is the audio sounded a little off, Jake specifically. Might just be the room is a little echoing but at times it was a bit hard to hear what you guys were saying. But an awesome first video none the less.
