Saw them walking with Govan a few years back, the drum major had some sort of a back problem but he carried on, and I swear, it only added to his "gallussness" so to speak. Funny thing is, the Orangemen and women get loads about being this and that but the first black blokes I ever saw in the flesh were walking along Brand Street of a July morning as part of Govan 42. Around 1967/68 it was, I think they may have came all the way over from Ghana, I kid you not.
