The University of Vermont Center on Rural Addiction (UVM CORA) Rural Center of Excellence on Substance Use Disorder Treatment was established in September 2019 through a cooperative agreement with the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA). The mission of UVM CORA is to provide treatment providers and staff in HRSA-designated rural counties with the technical assistance and resources in evidence-based practices that may support their efforts to treat patients with opioid use disorder or other substance use disorders.
