9:37 Actually, yes, as a Spanish speaker I can confirm that. *"Pobre"* means *"Poor"* but in this context, Don Flamenco said it like *"Oh you poor thing"* other translations could be too *"Ay pobrecito"* or *"Ay pobre de ti"*

5:18 Possible leads: paso del bosque = "Forest Pass", which logically fits, but there's extra letters... Rabon is like "short tail"? Short-tail of the forest? Don't know if it can refer to topology as the short-end of a forest, when another side of it is longer or larger. I'm totally making Spanish flashcards from some of these lines... less of the unhinged cultist dialogue and more of the short, simple sentences, but still. Great content.

Ugh! 🙄 For the 1'000'000'000th time... "Ansatsuken" is *NOT* the name of Ryu and Ken's fighting style. It's just an umbrella term for deadly martial arts. Gen, the rolling Chinese old man that doesn't have a single move in common with any of the _shotos,_ is a master of *TWO* different _ansatsuken_ styles (and neither of them is Ryu's). The martial art school / style of Goutetsu and his pupils doesn't have an official name.

I know I’m late to the party but I think I can explain a few things. “Je Suis Glass Joe” is grammatically correct, at least as far as Canada. Quebecois French is different from French from France. “I am a Glass Joe” would be “Je Suis Un Glass Joe.” I could be mistaken but I was in Canadian French Immersion until the end of grade 7 and we would commonly introduce ourselves with “Je suis”, or “I am”, and no teacher corrected us. So I’m assuming that’s why it might be wrong in French but common in Canadian French. Also interesting thing I noticed about Aran Ryan; he says b’y. It’s funny because b’y is, typically, a Newfoundland word. Mind you Newfoundland has a high population of people with Irish ancestry (I’m in NL, my mom’s side was from Ireland) but it’s known in Canada and a lot of other places for being Newfoundland slang. From my looking, they *do* use b’y in Northern Ireland but looking at the map, Dublin (where Aran is from) is not part of that area. Oversight on the Canadian studio’s part or super in depth research? Who knows. 😂

As a native French speaker, it isn't wrong "je suis Glass Joe" can be used "je m'apelle glass Joe" is actually more rare in usage since its very tacky and grammatical, especially in quebec.

Glad I first bought the japanese Solatorobo since I thought it was never going to be release in North America. Then Europe got it. I bought that. Then NA got it. Bought it again. I sold the NA version since the EU version is exactly the same. And now the Eu version is nearly as expensive as the NA version I just sold. Go figure.

I disagree at 0:40. I've taken french classes, and I've known many french people who greet themselves with 'Je Suis'. "Je suis Glass Joe" is valid. In english, I can easily say "I am Joe", that does not mean I'm saying "I am A Joe", it's the same in French. What I think you mean to say is that's not a professional way of doing it compared to "Je mappelle."
