I just watched your video with the Bouge RV 30 qt cooler. I’m not sure if you’re still using it but if you are what power station do you power it with? Do you hook it up to your bike while traveling? If so, what would the process be? Sorry for all the questions….
@SpyderWayne6 күн бұрын
@peppermyntpatti144 I don't mind the questions at all. My power station is an Ecoflow River Pro. Today's version is the Ecoflow River 2 Pro. Now, when I'm riding and towing the camper, I use a small CPAP battery that fits in a pouch on the fridge/cooler cover (and yes I'm still using and loving my BougeRV fridge/cooler). Some camper owners have been able to connect the cooler to power on their bikes or connect to power on their trailers. I just use a small CPAP battery, it's tucked into the cooler cover, and it lasts about 10 to 12 hours, so pretty much all day. This little battery is an Easylonger ES400 CPAP battery. I hope this all makes sense. If you have more questions, you can email me at: "[email protected]"

You faired much better than I did, I didn't have a single faring left on the front half of the bike, hood and mirrors gone too, laptop that was in the frunk was also mangled. Looks like you had time to brake, I caught mine at full highway speed.
@SpyderWayne6 күн бұрын
@seancunningham1195 There were a few lucky things that went my way, I was only going about 45 mph when I hit the brakes, so I did slow down a little, the deer was moving across but away from me and not towards me, it was a small young deer, and I happened to hit the meaty part of its rear hip, and it bounced straight up. And when I stopped and looked, I was absolutely shocked that it didn't damage my Spyder 😖😳😁
@SpyderWayne6 күн бұрын
@seancunningham1195 Deer can do significant damage. My son's car was totaled in a collision with a full grown deer a few months before I hit this deer.

DO NOT BUY THIS EBIKE ! I bought this ebike based on some reviews. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with both: the ebike and the company. the design is really slick and this product might be great if it is working. Unfortunately, my ebike came with a defect. The left pedal does not align, making my foot slip out. Initially I was sent new pedals, then crank arm for replacement. Despite replacing, it did not fix the problem. I requested an exchange and the seller/vendor kept asking for images, videos, suggesting sending ebike to the bike shop etc. I waited 2 weeks for the replacement parts. Finally, when I decided to return it and asked for a refund, AMAZON 30-day return window has ended. At some point the PEDAL ASSIS stopped working, then after few days it worked again. The steel cargo rack is already rusting after one month. I reported all the problems but the vendor kept sending all kind of wired requests delaying the return. It seems like they did everything possible not to allow me to send this ebike back. Weirdly, on Amazon this ebike is sold for $650 + $200 shipping. On their website, you can buy one directly for $850 - super wired policy. They asked to send the bike only if it has no more than 10 miles, and obviously testing it after the pert replacement would take more than 10 miles riding all together. I ended up with the defective ebike and short of around $900. IT seems the bike has a defective crank shaft, but so far no replacement parts for that. Still negotiating with the vendor and it is super frustrating talking to people who pretend to be helpful, but they are doing everything possible to get rid of the customer. Asking the same questions over and over again. If you are looking for peace of mind, I recommend going with a different product. Especially if your bike will have any issues. Do not trust reviewers, as they only care to make a commission on your purchase and will not tell you anything negative (or true). WILDEWAY is certainly not the brand to go with :-(

Mention was made of getting some additional lighting up higher due to a trailer, yet when you separated the harness under the passenger seat I did not notice a wiring harness for trailer lights. My question is, do the installation instructions make mention of what to do if you have a previously installed trailer harness in the location of where the top case lights are supposed to plug in? In other words is there room to tuck away both a top case lights harness and a trailer harness?
@SpyderWayneАй бұрын
@robertlarrabee9115 No, the instructions don't mention what you're asking about. On my first 2020 Spyder (4 yrs ago), I installed my trailer light harness myself at the back under the trunk where the Spyder tail lights are. On my current Spyder, I had the dealer install the OEM harness for my trailer, from BRP, and I'm not sure where they installed that harness, but it wasn't where these tour pack lights were connected as shown in this video (under the rear passenger seat). There was still a little bit of room where I stuffed the plug n play connector under the rear passenger seat, so I believe there is room for it, but I'm not 100% certain depending on the size of the trailer light splitter harness.
@robertlarrabee9115Ай бұрын
@@SpyderWayneOk-my trailer hitch and harness came from Pierre up in Quebec. The trailer light harness is plug n play and goes in the exact same location as the top case harness you used. I could wire myself but plug n play makes things soooo easy and as I get older I’m getting lazier!
@SpyderWayneАй бұрын
@robertlarrabee9115 Here's what I suggest if you're interested in these lights, which I love these lights by the way, call Slingmods, and tell them about your harness for the trailer, and one of their guys who is familiar with installing these lights can give you an expert opinion. I think you can daisy chain this harness to your trailer harness I've called them for some other issues in the past, and they're super helpful over the phone.

For geographical reasons I decided this year to return to my original dealer as I had heard they had got their act together in the service area. A pleasant surprise awaited me. I dropped the bike off late one afternoon and they had it ready for me the next morning. Oil change, full inspection, and ran it through BUDS to make sure there was no updates...... $365.55 CDN including tax. They have won me back!!! it reminded me of this video. Hope all is well with you!!!

Hi I have can am spyder When I opened this cover, I did not find the cable. What should I do? How do I buy this cable and how do I connect it?
@SpyderWayneАй бұрын
@KHALED3WEER I mentioned in my video that Spyders in Europe and Australia do not have a plug behind the plastic cover. Spyders in the USA and Canada do have the plug behind that cover. I purchased my LED light kit from Slingmods, and the kit came with an extra long wiring cable that you would run back through your Spyder to another accessory plug on the right side of the Spyder. But it also requires disassembly of the front end of your Spyder. I believe Martin The Vlogger KZbin channel has a video showing how he performed the installation of this LED light. It's a lot of work.
