Simple question? Does the piece of clothing require blendshapes premade in blender on the fbx or does vrcfury just makes them on the spot? And will vrcfury actually use the blendshapes already on the avi

truth is you cant stop ripping... if game developers could stop piracy if it was even possible i bet they would... you just gonna live and except ripping has been apart of life since the first console game and be happy not a lot of people do it. another problem is people who dont read terms of service and still trade and give away made models and stuff. so even if ripping did go away all it takes is a "hey you bought that model ill buy it off you for the files for a lesser price" tupper is right it cant be solved fully people would just make a new ripper and your right most rippers are smooth brains but all it takes is to ask a non smooth brain ripper to "take out kanna" and most do before posting your content online they have there own little market places (just like most game devs have anti piracy tactics but people still by pass them and post them on there piracy sites)

aaaannd it just got bypassed just by going into vrchats cache folder, no programs needed and you get the full FBX model...

1. Why not turn off the object in full? (my added clothes came all in pieces, and would take a long time to toggle them each and idk how to make groups) 2. I didn't link any blendshapes, is that a problem? They're to clothes at this point. 3. My armature link is to the hips on the original avatar... all good? 4. I want to eventually link a body with all of it's glory, blendshapes, ect... but sometimes they come with their own ID, like they are their own avatar... ugh.. I don't know the proper way to mesh everything together, they have the same base.

This is so huge, very very easy process. Learning this stuff looks intimidating from the outset but it can be made so easy with clear, concise help, cheers! ❤

I haven't been to vrchat in a while. So ppl are "ripping" off of creators of a model the original creator created and it's been a big problem. But you can prevent someone from stealing your model and doing whatever to it, but it can be prevented by using this person named "kanna protecc " who has a code that the original creator of a model can use for their work so whenever someone else tries to steal the model it will turn out to be messed up. Did i get that right? If so then i would need this when I try to make my own model

I am new to adding clothes to avatars. This process seems quite helpful. Does it work for any objects/props you attempt to add to the avatar? Or just for clothes? And does it only work for clothes made specifically for that avatar base?

Thank god for this tutorial, had a vid tell me to reparent bones and it wiped all of my physbones irreversibly. Lucky I made a backup or I would have lost like 2 weeks of work.

What if your clothing is at an A pose and the avatar is at a T pose how would you attach them? Would I need to fix up the clothes to be a T pose in Blender?

See this is why when it comes to model ripping, I only rip models from games where the artist has already been paid for their work anyways from a product I purchased myself, hence why I see no issue ripping models from say PS2, Gamecube and even more modern PC games and etc, but ripping models from an indie creator who personally made their avatar or when the models are specifically supposed to be private, it really hurts especially to see talented creators who sell their models have them stolen, ripping isn't a solely bad practice, but a lotta people abuse that power and use it with more sinister intentions

Looking around the comments, I can see why this script exists. It's for people who are too lazy to learn how to use Blender and want to do everything inside of Unity alone. I can't recommend it for that reason, as everyone should learn how to use Blender, as doing so will give them significantly more control of how their avatar looks and functions.

I am a coding technician for a game company and i play vr chat a lot. In my free time mainly. Ive only discovered about ripping about a year ago and now that im looking into how people rip avis, its very concerning. Truth is the way people rip is simply either hacking your acc, finding an avatars pipeline id, using 3rd party software that bypasses the default coding of an avatar projection or they will just buy an avatar from payhip or whatever and then upload the files to ripperstore or vrmodels.

I used this method and it seems to be re parenting everything in the test build, but the arms on my jacket remain frozen? Do you have an idea what might be causing the issue?

Half year pass and avatar ripping still easy, anyway most avatars is unoptimized piece of crap what need tens hours for fixing all wrong weights, topology, bone constraints, bad anatomy, texture problems and etc... so rip is better way.

Im just confused how "ripping" is a problem like okay u use the same Avatar as me and? Maybe Im to used to modding and how open that community is and how aggressive it is against paid mods.
