Hi, can you confirm if this is the RS3 Pro or is it actually just the RS3?
@user-cc5bn2ub6h11 күн бұрын
Title says RS3 But you mentioned RS3 Pro in the video.
@hireacamerauk11 күн бұрын
Hi there, thanks very much for highlighting this! It is the Pro in this video, and I've updated the title and description accordingly.

surely the polarising filter should be the first filter and not the nd grads??
@grangestudios509722 күн бұрын
Thanks for the vid! Would the canon r8 with sigma art 24-70 work?(with ef converter..I use the meike ef-rf converter with drop in filter version) I bought the rs3 mini and this had no chance for the same reasons you mentioned with moving the camera as far back as poss and not having enough clearance, I was pretty new to it all at the time but would now invest in an rs3 (or 4) if it means I can use my sigma/adapter set up?
@hireacamerauk21 күн бұрын
Hi there! What you have described should work absolutely fine i.e. Canon R8 - RF Filter adapter - Sigma Lens. However, if using the manual focus motor supplied with the RS3 or any other rail mounted accessories, you might run into problems with the setup being front heavy. The lens is a fair bit heavier than the R8 and the focus motor/rails/cables will all add weight where it isn’t needed. If use of the manual focus motor is essential, you might be able to counter balance the setup using the supplied phone/monitor mount to apply some extra weight to the camera end of the build. - Sam

Should i have an extension plate and something under mybsigma art 24-70mm lens
@hireacamerauk4 ай бұрын
Hi there, the Sigma 24-70mm art is only a tiny bit longer than the RF 24-105mm we use at the start of this video on the EOS R, so provided you aren't using a huge camera, you should be able to balance without additional plates.
@Twoforone1013 ай бұрын
@hireacamerauk thanks, I use it with a sony a7rii, I just can't see to get it to balance right. I out my 50mm lens on and I can get it to balance in about 5 minutes. I just didn't know if there was a secret for longer lens.

Hey Sam, what plate are you using on the FX6?
@hireacamerauk5 ай бұрын
Hi Jimmy, the FX6 is attached with a DJI extended release plate which we supply with the the DJI RS 3 Pro Combo here at Hireacamera. If you're just looking to buy plate to do the job though, the SmallRig 3031b is almost identical to what we used here.

Pretty sure this video features a 0.3m cable, but you might want to go a little longer if your rig is loaded up with more accessories.

Hello, Did you have any issues with the reliability of the stream (interruptions etc)? I have to to decide between LiveU Solo and Teradek Vidiu Go and try to find out which has a more solid stream with fewer chances of technical problems to appear. I will use it mostly on areas where there is no LAN or WI-FI, so cellular bonding is a must. Thanks!

I feed these into my Zoom F4N and it's a fine balancing act to decide which should be doing the majority of the leg work. I've found you can rescue more on the recorder if you err on the side of caution and bring it in low.

Does the polariser, sitting up front, not cause vignetting given how far out in front it is? I know tge wide angle lenses require a different adaptor to keep them as clise as possible to the lens, however this seems a bit pointless if the polariser is miles out in front?

@@brettgaramella Yes, apparently LEE has this “4mm side guides” for the original holder. You may need to get longer screws too which they also have.
